His first two years as a Buc he would train at our HS track. He'd hook a harness up to his jeep and try and pull it around the track. Legs like tree trunks. Hope he makes the HOF one day.
So another quality defensive player is hitting the road and leaving yet another hole in an already abysmal defense. I hate Licht.
He isn't worth that money and if they take Devin White, they're getting a better, more refined version of Kwon for significantly less.
Meh, as awful as our defense is we need some sort of shining hope. I would have paid that for him, but that’s just me. We will see what happens in the draft.
Gotta think the Bengals, Dolphins, & Redskins are our most likely trade back partners if Haskins is still there at 5. Not sure if White lasts to the early teens though. Raiders are a real wildcard at 4 because who knows what crazy shit Gruden is going to do.
So I imagine if McCoy leaves the front office has to be looking at Ed Oliver it Quinnen Willliams to fill the void at the #5 pick.
I forgot about him. I’d be happy with that pick. Eventually I’d like the defensive backfield to be addressed.
Crazy deep DT draft. I wouldn't read into anything just yet, but I would be more than happy with Williams, Oliver, or White
Most of my friarjuggs research says we're getting Devin White which I certainly don't hate. Echoing posts above if Williams falls to #5 then take him in a heartbeat.
Is our defense switching from a 4-3 to 3-4? Just curious because I see Oliver being a better DT while Williams being a better NT.
I think Oliver can be a 3-4 end or even edge guy. Not sure if Williams is big enough to play the 1/0 tech a la Vea
I can see that. After looking it up, I thought Williams was over 300lbs. I guess I assumed Bama DTs to be balls of mass.
Arians and co have talked as if he's been looking better, but I think that's just to try and see if any other team will bite
