The only one I could find of Husk land is only somewhat accurate if you think of it relative to the state instead of relative to other states
No. It's not. The apocryphal story is that Norfolk was supposed to be spelled Norfork or Northfork because it's at the North Fork of a particular river. It got fucked up somehow when it was officially named but locals still call it Norfork.
There's a Beaufort SC and Beaufort NC. In SC they say it like "bue-fort", in NC they say it like "bow-fort"
Lancaster SC is LANK-aster; Lancaster PA is Lan-CAS-ter I'm pretty sure. Boy this is fun and interesting
lol'd at "Pilots" I lived for 8 years of my childhood in a small town with an Air Force base and it's crazy how the whole identity of the area becomes associated with it. Dayton is 3-4 times the size Alexandria was when I grew up there but the base there is much bigger than England AFB was as well.
Quiz: can you identify these world cities from their density maps alone? https://www.theguardian.com/cities/2019/mar/19/quiz-identify-world-cities-density-maps-alone Got 5 out of 10
I doubt Dubai is that dense in the center. Also it is kinda flat along the coast, not on a peninsula. IIRC that's Mumbai, right?
I’m probably reading the map wrong but is this saying that Atlanta doesn’t have nhl? Are the thrashers still there? Tia
The Flames used to be in Atlanta before they moved. That's where they got their name from, as a tribute to Sherman burning the city in the Civil War.
