This has been really impressive to me so far. Played one last night where we were in a building and the main room was full of some type of smoke or dust. You could only see a little bit in front of your face because of the way the sun was shining in. Enemies started showing up out of nowhere and it was horrifying trying to survive. Was running for my life and my heart was pounding from a damn side mission
I think I played 5 hours last night and I'm still on the first area. Really trying to take my time with it, though
No reason to rush. Endgame will always be there. The only reason to maybe rush is for PVP dominance, but even then, it’s not necessary.
I played for 4ish hours, got to level 5. Just kept wandering around looking for loot boxes. So far, so good. I really like the game the first division ended up being, this one is starting out very strong imo. The set items while you level is a nice touch.
Just downloaded. Seems like mostly positive reviews. For those who played D1 how do you feel about D2? I’ll be ready to fuck up VictorJ24 world soon enough...
I played d1 in the beginning then after each major patch when they revamped the game. Love d2 so far.
Our group stopped early 2018 and we loved it. Summer 2018 they updated things that made an impressive finished product that I wish I had known about/played more than just last week. Played probably 8 hours between late night Monday and then most of last night. Up to Lvl 11. So far: Combat - best AI I’ve ever seen. Flanking and projectile/skill usage by enemies is really intuitive. Those grenade throwers can heave. Also would advise everyone to read up on armor targeting / precision targeting. Bosses aren’t bullet sponges anymore if you coordinate critical area targeting. Progression - so far so good. Loot/crafting/vendors is scaled to your current level and there’s plenty of it if you’re actually looking. SD Caches always have one good piece for almost no effort and SD missions have so much loot everywhere. Main/side missions have next to nothing besides the main mission items rewarded so save yourself time there Customization I honestly think they’ve nailed it. So many options between weapon skill and gear mods/talents you can find a load out perfect for you if you are ok hoarding some stuff like brands of equipment. Also the talent recalibration system was great in D1s final product and they made it even better - talents you want to recalibrate aren’t a spin the wheel type result you take one from one weapon/gear and transfer it directly while losing the other piece you took it from. Also love the exotics system bc you can pick one type of gun and one armor that you love and just upgrade that version as you go (starting in the end game) instead of your favorite gun leveling out.
personally opt for 2-3 pieces of Douglas Harding for 5% accuracy, 10% Crit damage and 7% Crit Chance. And then 2-3 of either Providence (10% skill power / 8% health / 5% weapon damage) or Airaldi (10% acc / 10% headshot / 10% marksman damage) Playing solo the marksman or a semi auto rifle with good range is almost mandatory IMO Random shit I’ve picked up on: Chem Launcher Reinforcer is best healer skill. Super fast cooldown and can shoot it at your teammates. Hive Reviver is division 1s recovery link super skill (lb+rb med skill in d1) - in solo mode if you have it equipped it auto-revives you if you go down Fire turret sucks and doesn’t turn 360 this year. Normally go standard turret or striker drone for 2nd skill but read that firefly demolisher is great bc of armor targeting and kills enemy bomb car toys.
Don’t believe so similar to D1 just gotta get to whatever level of the initial mission that unlocks each of the 3 DZs. The first one may be lvl26 in the initial zone
Both. Early on it doesn’t matter much bc you don’t get much from either disposable Method. Also you got to think about donating stuff to the different settlements for projects.
TLankAU In the Federal triangle there’s a building on the corner of 10th St., Northwest and Pennsylvania Ave., Northwest and inside as a resource node parts deal if you go in the entrance on the south west side there’s a office with a weapon cache in it that I have no idea how to get to. You can actually loot two things that are inside of the office through the glass wall but the weapons are on the far corner if anybody knows how to get this motherfucker let me know
PSA - put 3 masks, knee pads, etc in stash early on. Can be any gear level. Lot of the Settlement Projects have Donate 3 ____s as one of the tasks. Which you can do from the map view FYI just hit LB and donate through projects list. Few of them have good blueprint rewards. Got blue super 90 and a blue police M4 one. Probably will craft a new one of each every ~4 levels til I hit 30 unless I’ve got a better AR and Shotty at a high enough level.
So this is neat. Trying to do the air and space museum mission and getting a ce-34878-0 error every time. My dog stepped on my fucking power cord and unplugged the ps4 when it was on loading screen. Did he fuck up the game
I restarted the Playstation and it seems to have helped. I'm trying to avoid re downloading it if at all possible. Today is my Friday and I have no obligations tomorrow
I’m downloading digital and it’s still says 13 hours to go an hour later. I’ve never done digital before and I’m never doing it again
WiFi. If I go plug it in will it go faster? Also if I turn my PS4 to change rooms will it fuck it up?
It is a large file, but shouldn’t take that long. I only have 100mbps and still only took me 20-30 minutes.
