Guys been great this spring Last year we had urena/straily and then we had no idea who would fill out the rotation going into opening day. This year we have 7 starters vying for 5 spots with those 2, Sandy, Lopez, Smith, Richards and then that bum Chen who is still owed like 40 mill the next 2 years and has sucked this spring
Should just cut our losses and release Chen at this point. He’s owed a shit ton but he would be taking valuable experience from a number of kids who deserve innings in the bigs
Think thats really our only option, they have mentioned maybe moving him to the bullpen as a long reliever but fuck that...just rip the band aid off at this point and get rid of the bum
Brinson is never going to be good, his approach at the plate is just awful I sure hope the Yamamoto and Harrison guys turn out decent, or it’s gonna be Miggh for Maybin/Miller all over again
Really wish they would have brought back old teel helmets when we brought back the throwbacks last year, and plan to this year
I have notifications set up for the team threads I care about - the Dolphins are not one of those teams.
I’m aware which is why I called you a lurker since you have thread notifications on for this thread, are a marlins fan but do not participate
That’s fine however you want to act as a fan is your business Atleast toss me some likes for keeping this thread alive along the way you cheap bastard
Between Sixto Neidert Guzman Cabrera Garrett Rogers Yamamoto Stewart And the one that’s been the most impressive Gallen We have a crazy surplus of young arms in our farm system And with the young arms we have starting for us now we can afford to bring them along slowly. With that said I saw a SB Nation mock with us taking the big LHP out of TCU in this years draft, I feel like we need to add more top bats to this farm system
draft a ton of arms imo, use those arms to acquire bats. feels like the market value of hitting is way down compared to what you can get for an elite arm.
