I am in Charlotte and ready to burn the world down also going to a place featured on DINERS DRIVE INS AND DIVES
On a scale of yes or yes would you say you’ve been to every good/famous eating establishment in North Carolina?
Unfortunately, there's a ton of places in Charlotte I haven't gone but Pinky's happens to be right down the street from a vendor so I've been a couple of times. There aren't many of those places in the Triangle or eastern NC that I haven't been to.
For some reason there does seem to be a snowball effect when we have poor shooting in a tournament. Part of it is over reliance on jump shots
They’ve won this tournament twice recently. But the first game, and first half, in a double bye layout is always hard for the higher seed. Plus Keatts seems to have the key to hanging with UVA- he did it at UNCW and has played them tough at State, but hasn’t won.
Doubt Jerome and Hunter play so poorly in the 2nd half, and we won’t shoot 50+% from 2 either. If we do better than 0-8 from 3 we can hang until the end but I expect UVA to win by 8-10.
Tony also fucking loves this Salt/Kihei lineup despite the fact that it’s our worst lineup by any metric, including defensively.
While I would love to laugh at the Hoos losing please don’t ruin the awesome Friday in state semifinals.
I can’t provide an explanation for what was going on there but I truly don’t think Diakite did it on purpose
Keatts has insisted on playing Braxton Beverly despite him 0-4 from 3 which is his only positive attribute and Guy has abused him. We got back into the game in the 1st half when Blake Harris was bothering Guy, and it's infuriating watching Beverly continue to provide absolutely nothing on either end of the court.
beverly has no business being a scholarship athlete in power 5 basketball tbh. his shooting is too streaky to make up for his stinking at every other facet of the sport this is my hot take based on like 4-5 games and i will not walk it back
He's fine in most games, but we switch everything under Keatts so it's impossible to hide him defensively. He won't play as much next year if Lecque comes so that'll be nice.
My sound's off, but I'm pretty sure I just saw espn advertise a quarterfinal tonight simply featuring Duke I'm becoming what I've always hated
I’m just hoping for great sportsmanship and the excellence of student athlete competition we’ve come to expect in the Atlantic Coast Conference.
i watched the entire second half of the 2015 acc semifinal game at that place during a hornets game. hornets basketball is a magical experience
