now google is sending me a refurbished phone since they're apparently out of new phones. but i paid full price for a new, working phone which i have never gotten. this is ridiculous
Take it to Twitter. I'm guessing they'll be quite receptive once you start a thread about your experience with the 3 so far.
Haven't had any issues with my P3. Sometimes when I double tap to wake the screen, it'll flash brightly for a brief moment, but that's it.
Have a honeymoon coming up and have really resisted the strong urge to pick up the Pixel 3 XL for improved photos in paradise. Android Q beta came out yesterday. I took the plunge (available as an OTA w/ enrollment) and its very smooth for the first public beta. In years past, they called this an alpha release, and was not available as an OTA. I think payment apps are all certified, so in theory it could be used on your daily driver. A couple simple smart refinements, but not drastic.
I got it and everything seems pretty minor other than the dark mode being a lot darker and applying to a few more aspects. Of course you had to have your phone set to dark mode before you upgraded as they removed the dark/light option from settings.
any fi people keep getting busy signals when calling recently? seems to have just started within the last couple days, but i'll dial out and get a busy signal for no reason at all
Copied from reddit. Looks a little weird on tmb imo. I also had to enable the 2nd dark mode that is in the flags for it to work With version 74 of Google Chrome you can enable dark theme by going to chrome://flags and enable the flag Android Chrome UI dark mode. Then relaunch Chrome, goto settings and turn on Dark mode. Screenshot: image 1 image 2
And ordered. It feels like Nexus is back, except it has the top camera on the market... $400 Pixel 3A review: https://www.theverge.com/2019/5/7/1...deo-specs-price-release-date-features-io-2019
It's taking seemingly a million fucking years for the new Android Beta to optimize the apps on my Pixel 3 before I can restart to finish installing the update. The progress bar literally hasn't moved in at least a half hour.
No. It finally finished after like 2 hours. New gesture navigation is nice, though it has to be enabled in settings. Also the option to bring back the three button navigation or stick with the pill and the back button.
Google agrees to pay owners of faulty Pixel phones up to $500 Some phones had defective microphones https://www.theverge.com/2019/5/14/...y-mic-issues-lawsuit-payout-hairline-fracture
The OnePlus 7 Pro is sexy as fuck. Not sure I can wait on the P4. OnePlus has the most minimal skin outside of pure Android...i'd never get a Samsung again, but thinking about the OnePlus
The new Poweramp (v3.0) is pretty damn good. Just downloaded it and didn't even have to rebuy it. I think I bought it back in 2012.
yeah, i used that when i'd store music on my phone, and before play music, and all the other streaming options, became a thing.
Oh wow. It is that time of the year, isn't it? I think I might finally have to replace my Pixel 1st gen. It is starting to freeze when I swipe too quickly between apps.
Google tells me we won't be getting one. https://www.androidcentral.com/android-10-name-boring-unimaginative-and-step-right-direction
Time for a new phone and I'm having a really had time moving away away from Samsung. I started with the S line at the s2 so I've had the same line for 8 or 9 years now. I really want to try the Pixel but idk it would just be weird having to learn a fully new system.
