You're right on the Z3. But the Z8 is only slightly better. Should've just stuck with 7 series since they were using BMWs.
The E-38 7 series was amazing, but at the time of production, long in the tooth and at the the end of its model run. It was an underrated ride for sure, but wouldn’t have worked as a Bond car in that context. The E39 M5, E46 M3, and the Z8 were the crown jewels of that pre-Bangle analog twightlight. What don’t you love about the Z8? You get the M5 V8 and 6spd manual mounted between the axles in a two seat droptop with an aluminum spaceframe and a body that looks like the 507. It’s automotive porn!
they were playing the same 6 movies in my hotel last week and the first and second one were in rotation they still work if you have that base Bond knowledge and I honestly enjoyed rewatching them for the first time in probably 15 years, but they'd be such a weird watch for anyone sub ~25
wat all the austin powers movies hold up and they’re always on tv. i watched goldmember last week and it was great
Plot synopsis is out Spoiler just in case Spoiler „Bond has left active service and is enjoying a tranquil life in Jamaica. His peace is short-lived when his old friend Felix Leiter from the CIA turns up asking for help. The mission to rescue a kidnapped scientist turns out to be far more treacherous than expected, leading Bond onto the trail of a mysterious villain armed with dangerous new technology.“
I’ve enjoyed the way they’ve done the storyline with Craig, starting him young and carrying him to an older age. Idk if it’s realistic as a model for the future Bonds, but it’s been a good ride.
Best part is the last 5 minutes. Spoiler warning Spoiler when he gets the Aston Martin just like old times when it felt like it might of been his last bond film for Craig. Got a little watery ill admit
Yup. I enjoyed it nearly as much as Skyfall myself. Not sure why it's getting such hate here - it's miles better than Quantum.
Quantum is my favorite Craig film after Casino Royale, also Skyfall is terrible, the bad guy succeeds Edit: story wise, the movie is beautiful
' I'm just fucking around but the story does have a ton of holes in it, I also really don't get the Quantum hate. Bond out for revenge is fun. https://www.iheart.com/podcast/80-j...episode-002-skyfall-with-steve-agee-28535078/
Spectre is clearly the worst Craig movie. It's such a convoluted mess with unnecessary retconning of the previous movies.
I dont care for the bad guy storyline in it. I think following Casino Royale was also really tough and plays a part.
Feels like they didn’t know if this was Craig’s last movie and it kind of lost direction from there IMO.
Casino Royale is easily the best of the Bond movies Skyfall is very good but didn’t care for an exploration into Bond’s origin which was a precursor to the awful Spectre
