https://www.skysports.com/football/...xt-season-says-sporting-director-michael-zorc Spoiler Jadon Sancho will remain at Borussia Dortmund next season despite speculation linking him to a number of Europe's top sides, according to the club's sporting director Michael Zorc. The 18-year-old has played a key role in Dortmund's Bundesliga title challenge this season, making 34 appearances and scoring nine goals so far, and that form led to an England call-up which saw him make his debut for Gareth Southgate's side in October. His impressive displays have also led to speculation that Sancho could leave Dortmund this summer, with reports linking the likes of Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain with a £100m move for the winger, but Zorc has dismissed those suggestions, insisting he will remain in Germany. "Jadon will play for Borussia Dortmund next season and we are definitely planning with him," Zorc told Sport Bild. "I am far from putting a price tag on Jadon, but I maintain that his transfer would be hard to beat even for the biggest clubs in the world at the moment." Sancho left Manchester City to join Dortmund in August 2017, making his debut in the 2-2 draw away at Eintracht Frankfurt in October that year. He has won three caps for England and is expected to be included in Southgate's squad for the Euro 2020 qualifiers against the Czech Republic and Montenegro later this month.
Benfica has allegedly accepted our deal to make Jimenez permanent for £38m with potential to rise to £41m. His goal/assist output has absolutely made our season and this is a no brainer. That practically doubles our transfer record, which I think was just raised with the Jonny deal with Atletico in January.
Gonna pay a few this summer. Already paid Pavard’s release clause. Apparently Arp is Bayern bound this summer too but he’s been so shitty this year that he’ll probably go to Bayern II. Definitely will if we bring in Werner too.
That it’s just a matter of agreeing on a fee with Leipzig. I’ve seen more than one report saying that the agent/Werner have agreed to terms (after they were given the green light from Leipzig). Now, Leipzig has said a couple times that he won’t be sold, but the BVB president said in a presser that they inquired about Werner and were told that he’d already been sold to Bayern, so who knows.
all the city guys i follow are extremely skeptical that pep will spend that much but maybe he’s just going balls the wall in case of a transfer ban
Yeah that’s the rub. My question is do the players listed count towards the 200? Pavard was 35mil, Hernandez 35mil and Pepe was 80mil. Werner gonna cost the rest of the 200 now
My calculations: Pavard 40mil Hernandez 80mil Pepe 50-60 mil amid reports that Adidas is paying 20-30mil of the fee They said earlier that these moves aren’t part of the 200mil. I’m guessing they’re going to recoup some of those monies by selling Hummels/Boateng/Rafhina this summer. I’ve heard Ribery May get another year because he’s playing really well as Coman’s late game sub. Robben might already be done, as he’s had some infection that started in his mouth for months.
He Barca bound. I think that’s what fueled the Hernandez release clause getting triggered now instead of this summer. I wanted de ligt too, no homo.
There’s been reports on that front off and on since last summer. Last I read, RM was asking 90-110mil, which won’t happen imo.
makes plenty of sense to me while another left back is a more pressing need, another cb is still a good addition to the roster. increases depth, covers for injuries, can start reducing piques work load as he continues to age (i imagine this would have happened already if sammy didn't get hurt), and it has benefits for both the short- and long-term. plus the basic benefit of him not being on a competing club. of course you can get those same benefits going in a less costly direction, but give me the top flight asset. especially since it shouldn't preclude other objectives for the summer
FranceFootball reporting Bayern triggered Lucas Hernandez €85 million release clause and have agreed to a 6 year, €78mil contract. MundialDeportivo saying we offered €56mil for Luka Jovic. Will battle Barca and Inter for him. Not sure I want him if it means no Werner. Or the offer may mean Werner isn’t happening. Idk at this point.
