keep playing with my normal 2 guys buddies that I always played PUBG with. One of them just can't get this game, think maybe it's too fast paced or something, but man he's fucking terrible. He's basically a mirage without playing the character.

ha unfortunately not. I'm still adjusting after playing mostly PUBG (and still overwatch which I can't quit for some damn reason) but I'm starting to get better. But I'll never be as good at a game as I was at CoD. That was peak free time gaming in college, that was a lot of fun when we were all dominating in big team battles

It kind of touched on something me and Odin were talking about last night. More and more you're starting to see games announced and released at the same time or not long after the announcement. This guy in the video made a solid point of you being able to form your own opinion instead of reading all about it, seeing it at multiple gaming conventions, and watching hours and hours of video. Easy to hype yourself up too much or to consume way too much media about it to the point of ruining the experience.

not only did no mans sky look like shit when it released, but all the E3 hype made it impossible for that game to meet expectations. i fear the same thing will happen with death stranding.
The games industry has been consolidating for like 15 years so showing concern about it now doesn't really do much for me. All of the small studios of yesteryear are either dead, merged, or Valve. The way that guy talks is annoying as hell and his jokes are terrible

Damn that's done well, nothing really ground breaking but well put and entertaining to listen to. I think it depends a lot on where you're coming from. In this case the company knew it's core fans (those playing Titanfall) specifically don't want a BR, and the more it's talked about the more anti-Apex sentiment would build up in their existing fanbase. I think games which don't have any existing fanbase may still work well with hype building beforehand, though they now know to be weary of over-promising which is just healthy for everyone.

In one game both of us were 1 shot killed. We both shot him in the back before he just turned and wrecked us. That's ridiculous.
If you're on PC, I wouldn't put hacks beyond the realm of possibility. People can be that good, but Occam's razor, you know?
I'm not even addicted to this fucking game. Imo the map looks like shit and the graphics suck. Im literally only trying to play to git gud. But every fucking time I get to the cock ring im always getting one shotted. My teammate had gold helmet and armor and was insta melted. I then poured my spitfire in this dude's ass and boom one shot death. Why does anyone play this fucking game.
I played it on my friend's xbox and it was kind of shocking how bad it looked and still chugged when launching out of the dropship. Not even talking shit because I have to play on all low settings on pc
You didn't get one shotted, but it might have looked like it on your screen. The Netcode on this game is worse than any other BR
Odd. I'm not exaggerating. I had a spitfire all purple iirc and just laying into a guy. He just turned and burned. He wasted my teammate the same. Made no sense. I have seen lag that looked like a mirage decoy and it has gotten me killed. It's infuriating. I'm getting gud with the light and heavies. I'm still sorta eating shit with energy and shotguns. Had a few blunders in the finals. But also had to go general Patton and bitch slap my teammates for my first win. These dopes wanted to go down there and fight them when we have the best defensive position in the game.

No idea. There was so much hope and it was all stripped away in the blink of an eye. He actually went off the map 3-4 times that day. IIRC he went off the map once earlier in that same game. Here's another from that same day. Landing Airbase and Relay as often as we do has its downsides.
