Just shoot me an invite even if I’m playing overwatch. I’ll inevitably get sick of people not wanting to address the payload or capture point
Division 2 is 1000% better at launch. There is tons to do and the missions have been really well done.

Yeah that can happen. But I've been lucky finding guys who know how to play and willing to run it back.
I don’t think people were ready to ditch physical media six years ago, but they certainly are now imo.
on that note: I'm not a gamer, but the trend seems to me to be that people are spending more time in online multiplayer than single player (or local multiplayer) story mode no?
To answer your question, Activision has released COD titles without a single player experience at all. That move goes to show you that single player experiences, especially in primarily multiplayer genres are not only an after thought, they’re not a thought at all.
I have my old man tendencies with physical but over the past couple years with having my Switch, I’ve become more open to digital
I haven’t gotten a physical copy of a game since I bought my Xbox one x and it came with a free game. Before that it had been years.
I still enjoy seeing a physical collection, but I am all digital these days. It's so much easier to change games rather than have to swap discs. It also doesn't help that even though you have a disc, you still need 50GB to install a game. I really think they need to offer digital games at a discounted rate vs a physical copy, try to encourage people to go digital.
Plus you don't get a case or a disc so there's are obvious production savings as well. I don't mind paying the same as of now though. The convenience of not having to swap discs is enough for me. Only physical Xbox One disc I have is Forza 5 which I got with my Day One console. Everything else is digital.
I don't even have my Xbox connected to a 4k TV and it's worth it. Basically all of my friends have an X except a couple and I just never even consider performance drops in games like Apex or Blackout but they run into frame drops or stutters or have a harder time spotting enemies through smoke and stuff and I'm just like, yeah, everything's great over here.
My friend that doesn't have an X is also the last one to spawn/load into things, behind the rest of us who do have the X.
What happens with the disc you currently own if you upgrade to a disk less machine? What about backwards compatibility?
Is Anthem any good? Can you upgrade the characters and items? I'm weary because it's EA, but BioWare is involved though.
Ftr I’m still addicted to Blackout on Blops 4. The new modes they come out with every couple of weeks add a nice change and it still feels like the most polished a seemless BR.
Will an external hard drive with a bunch of games on it plug right into an X and be ready to go? I don't want to have to do a network transfer, or re-download everything when I move on from the S.
For the most part, yes. You definitely won't have to do network transfer or re-download everything but you might need to update some games for the X Enhanced stuff. That might be completely wrong though and all games just include everything for everyone but I seem to remember at least at one point there was maybe an option to download or not download X Enhanced stuff on non-X consoles.
