Is there a way to export the library so I can view the pics and vids on other devices? I have a SeagateMedia personal cloud connected to my home network.
You’d have to export the photos individually. The library is just a single file that is a package so there’s not a way to see the photos in a traditional file sense
I get that it is a big file. I’ll have to see what I can do and try to export. I’m out of space and can’t do shit on this old iMac.
Going to get the new phones now for my wife and I. Trading up from a 7 and 7 plus. Is it best to just trade them in or try to sell them. Never sold them before.
I used Facebook marketplace. eBay is great in they will tell you the average selling bid. I put in iPhone 7+ 256gb black att and it said $312 You can get a trade in value to compare wherever you’re planning on getting the phone. It’ll be less than $300 I’m sure
My girlfriend's 6s is struggle busing hard. She attempted to go to Apple to do a trade in but her AT&T plan is actually just prepaid month-to-month no contract. Can't say no to $45 a month for unlimited (if I recal correctly). So because it's not a contract, they wouldn't let her trade at the Apple Store. I find that weird, is the Apple deal not just an unlocked phone, and you pay an independent loan type thing straight to Apple?
The cell phone bars on my new Xs max at my home are now only 2-3 bars. My 7s plus always had full bars. Anyone else notice this? Had someone tell me I missed a call this morning and it went to voicemail. Didn’t even ring. I use this as my work phone mostly and can’t have that.
Just upped from 7+ to xs. RIP GOAT finish Jet Black. Looked around at promos and ended up with $150 to Target by doing that instead of fuck all at Verizon.
I only turn it off when posting to IG. Sometimes I have to turn it off/on real quick if it doesn't adjust but for my eyes it's very noticeable when the display is so blue/cool
For a frequent work traveler, is the iPad pro worth it? Need something that is a little more versatile for the small airline seats to keep up on emails and other work.
My 7+ got to the point of my battery losing 1% per minute, which was just awful. Day 4 of the XS and I’m using around 30% a day. This is fantastic.
my X has definitely been bleeding battery lately as well. Not quite that bad, but noticeably worse than when purchased.
Just bought the MacBook Air today. How do I copy contacts from my phone to my iCloud? For some reason I have a bunch saved locally on my phone so when I iMessage from my laptop it doesn't recognize their contact info
Anyone ever have a problem like this? The alarm and timer volumes for the alerts are quiet. The timer volume is almost unable to be heard. I have the ringer volume turned up to max, I have tried changing the setting from "Change with Buttons" both to on and off. If I go into the timer and click the sound to choose what sound it makes, it comes on full volume, but once the timer goes off, its almost non existant. I can't figure this damn thing out.
I think when I’ve had that, instead of trying to figure out why, I’ve just deleted the alarm & created a new one - create a new one that goes off a few minutes later & see if it still does it.
It is. It can actually be a slightly larger drain for your phone to have to start up the app from scratch.
are they "on my iPhone" contacts or are they in another account like google or yahoo or exchange? (tap groups when looking at a list of contacts)
i sometimes get an issue with my X where i'll lose all sound. really annoying when you slightly wake up due to the alarm vibrating instead of ringing. a restart fixes it, but i have no idea why it happens.
I figured one out and it was tied to a glitch in Spotify. The app wasn’t closing correctly and was staying on which meant it had control of the speaker; it thought it was simply paused indefinitely. Any other noise was overruled and silenced by the app. They fixed the issue a few months ago though.
what's the battery life on the old ones? is there enough justification to buy the new ones? i am not an owner of the original air pods. it looks like the battery life is the same and hey siri is on the original ones?
My original AirPods are over 2 years old now so I’m only getting around 45 minutes to an hour of use before they need to recharge. Hey Siri will now work when you are away from your phone but connected to it with AirPods. With current AirPods if you say Hey Siri your phone hears that and picks it up. Not the AirPods will actually recognize the command. Minor detail for most people’s use case. Also, price is the same as old model if you don’t want wireless charging case. If you are fine plugging in the case to charge then you don’t need the $199 pair.
Will be curious how much it drops the price of series 1. Would imagine series 1 would be a better option.
I like the airpods fine but won’t be buying any more Apple earphones until they figure out a system that works with foam tips.
Pretty sure they are no longer available to be purchased. Apple had started letting stock go down in the last month of the old model. May be able to find them on some reseller sites though soon at a discount.
