Certainly possible. Havent been in a while myself. Blows the doors off every restaurant in Charlotte though
I've been to Asheville several times and love everything about it, but I've never done the Orange Peel. That's changing in March. Any tips or tricks I need to know? Will it be easy to get an Uber after the show?
yeah it’s in the center of things. cool venue. it’s feet away from wicked weed if you wanna grab drinks before or after. buxton is right down the street as well for dinner. went with Nole0515 a couple years ago and had a pleasant time
construxboy where is he staying? the place near my apt has awesome bar food and is a good atmosphere for games but it may be out of the way
I know you have answered these questions a ton of times but lets do it one more time. First time in Asheville and we are staying at the grove park inn. Only plans we have so far is to check out where my wife grew up going to camp around Zirconia and dinner at Curate late Friday. My wife is pregnant so I need a couple of brewery recommendations where she won't mind staring at me while I drink. A good atmosphere or good bar food would help. Also looking for places to eat dinner Saturday night.
Sierra Nevada has cool environment and good food. Could take her to some of the roof top bars too Other popular nicer restaurants nowadays are Limones, Cucina 24, nine mile, Salsas
highland has a cool rooftop but it’s never open if there is any threat of cold/rainy weather so good luck. been by 5-6 different times and the roof has been open once
parking decks arent bad. there is a lot across the street from buxton. not sure what their prices are tho. it is all pretty centrally located so just find a spot and roll with it
was about to recommend the same. that thing is so damn good that i still havent actually gotten bbq from there because i just end up defaulting to the fried chicken
While you're on the South Slope, make sure to go to Twin Leaf and Green Man. Those are 1A and 1B for me to Burial's 1C.
I like them, and I guess they are technically still South Slope. But the three listed are just too close to visit one without visiting the others.
i don't like their beers that much and although they bill themselves as "the home of asheville soccer" they were completely unable to turn a single tv to nbc for a 12:30 game even tho a friend and i were the only ones there. no plans to return
brand new soccer bar opens up next monday. they'll be open for epl mornings too. super excited to check it out
