Don't buy BF5 just for Firestorm, but I'm curious what everyone thinks of it? Played a few games last night, won a game. Feels kind of clunky, and the controls did not feel intuitive. That said, I had fun playing it, but wouldn't recommend buying BF5 just to play it.
I think it’s really bad. A little confused at how they could put such a sloppy product together when I didn’t think regular BFV was all that bad. I think at its core there might be a solid game, but it’s just a mess where it is.
I need a new video game. I have played Red Dead as much as I can possibly handle for now. Any good shooter games with a good single player? I don't mind it also having multiplayer I just don't want the main facet of the game being online battle royale. Edit: Thread title is about a Rainbow six game... I used to love the Vegas ones back in the day.
Currently LOVE The Division 2. I've rocked it solo a lot. The nice thing about it is you can matchmake for the missions if you'd like. You can also request help running through the open world, but I don't think a lot of people respond to the help requests (I know I don't)
I responded to backup once. Helped the guy finish the mission with Quiroz as the named boss. He never talked and didn't really help much.
I love BFV for the gun mechanics and stuff but the glitches, lack of updates that actually fix issues instead of creating them, the nonstop bullshit from DICE, no I wouldn't say buy it. Especially for just FS. Because ATM it's terrible imo and almost unplayable given the loot system.
Has anyone ever experienced this and have a fix? I’m able to load up my XbOne and watch TV. But when I go to play a game it will switch over for a couple of seconds and then the TV goes black and on my screen it says I’ve lost connection to my XBOne. If I move back to TV everything works again.
I think the Spring Sale has started. Just found BFV for 30 bucks on the store, saw some other stuff too.
Haven't played much in a while, but I made it through edith finch on gamepass. What a great game/story
This doesn't happen per se, but when I switch to Netflix directly from a game it'll turn mostly black with barely visible marks of green sometimes. If it doesn't turn black it'll turn on in a completely faded and unwatchable color. I have to unplug my xbox and close out of netflix to make it start with normal color.
This SoT update actually sounds really fun https://m.ign.com/articles/2019/04/...-the-game-into-two-very-different-experiences
I really enjoyed sea of thieves when it came out but it always felt like a game that would be very very good a year or two in once they figured out what it was. When does this update drop? I’ll be interested in picking it up again
Played both new modes last night. Note: I had probably a total of 1 hour on SoT before this since I thought it was a cool world but nothing to really do. Arena PVP: Very cool set up and I think this could be super fun. Only downside for me was that we got wrecked since none of us play and sweaty try hards are obviously there just destroying you. I need to get better at the game to fully enjoy this mode. (cough cough Gin Buckets quit cough cough) Tall Tales Quest: This is awesome and difficult. Mind you 2 of my 4 were barely helping, this took us a few hours to do the first quest of 10. There is a lot to find, solve, and fight. There are new things I had not seen in SoT before-- was awesome to have to solve a puzzle while all my friends were in a room filling with water drowning to their deaths. Will definitely be doing the next quest.
