Joe Simpson "Unwritten Rules" with an American flag theme cell phone holsters to the first 1,000 fans
looks like ashley shahahmadi. she's the hornets sideline reporter and there seems to be a lot of fox sports south crossover with those teams
ashley has never said anything remotely interesting but she is attractive and much better than stephanie ready's blabbering nonsense so works for me
Bro, these guys don’t listen to me. I’ve tried timeouts to no avail; I’ve tried spankings but it only makes them sexually aroused.
Well quit lighting candles and turning off the lights first and maybe I’ll quit Einhorning my gun into your hip.
I haven’t said shit in days because I don’t enjoy this back and forth shit any more than you guys do. I made a comment about Buster Olney being a nerd who is not a good prognosticator and Tobias felt the need to be big man in the thread. Instead of commenting on whether my point is right (which it is, Olney is terrible) he went for his common tactic of calling people stupid or shitty for having adverse opinions.
I like George. He seems to have the right balance of perpetual negativity and having some fun that we value around here.
Well, I was here at the beginning long ago, was lost at sea for nearly a decade but have returned to celebrate the glory years of Financial Flexibility with all of you.
It's Spring Training. No one is going to have a 10 equivalent score if they had any significant amount of ABs.
LMAO at the huge announcement being you can get a 5000 calorie gas station fried chicken at Braves game.
Just to summarize how the offseason went. At the end of the 2018 season, using WS Odds for 2019, we were the hands down favorite to win out of the NL East. Skip 5 months forward... Starting today, we now have the 4th worst odds out of the NL East of making the WS. Fucking fantastic
This isn't the energy we need the day before opening day, stuhly. Go knock out some preacher curls and come back with a better attitude.
I just finished a mid day lift, about to eat some bland baked chicken and veggies.... Today is the last day of the offseason. Last day to complain about how awful it was. Tomorrow we get to move on to Snit being awful and Ender being a tard
Because the Braves didn’t really have the room in the budget (they spent more last year than they ever had before, at least) to go and buy an ace, analysts (myself included) often linked them to young pitchers on other teams; they’d trade from their prospect depth to get what they needed. What if — and this is crazy here so stay with me — they just hold on to those young pitchers and see if one of them is an ace? This spring, Kevin Gausman came into camp dealing with shoulder issues. Mike Foltynewicz said his elbow was barking. And then sixth starter extraordinaire (and owner of a 20/3 strikeout-to-walk ratio this spring) Touki Toussaint got sent down. Down three starters? No problem, let’s just call up Kyle Wright, Bryse Wilson and Max Fried and see what they can do. Wright (39th on FanGraphs’ top 100, and 58th in Baseball Prospectus’ Futures Guide) and Wilson (72 and 60th, respectively) are both top-100 prospects with above-average fastball velocity and good enough secondaries that they could be aces if everything comes together right. If they don’t work out, maybe Toussaint’s command has improved. Or maybe Fried is finally able to harness his big fastball. Or maybe once Michael Soroka’s shoulder clears up, his excellent command will make all his pitches play up. The point is, whether you like command (Wright and Soroka) or great fastballs (Wright and Wilson) or nasty secondaries (Wright, Touissaint and Fried), the Braves’ group has a pitcher for you. Watch this space for a breakout, with Wright out in front.
Ace was just a given, unfortunately. Poor guy gonna cause Tobias some crazy ups and downs. I just got my Acuña shirt and new hat. Feels like 159 wins and a 40/40 season for Ronnie. #Blessed
AA was just on Chuck and Chernoff (I know, kill me) making excuse after excuse about almost making trades and almost signing players. To Chuck Oliver’s credit, he at least played up being an angry fan.
