German outlets saying we agreed to terms with Timo Werner. Leipzig has stated they would rather sell him this summer than let him walk after next year for free, since he already told them he’s not going to sign an extension. Should come as a surprise to nobody.
Hey, it’s not bullying when you’re the first call when they need a bailout loan to keep from going under imo
Long rumored switch from Audi to BMW as official car sponsor. Club will make €800mil over the next 10 years from the manufacturer.
Word is Lewandowski is getting an extension thru 2023, after which he’ll retire. My hippo is a little skeptical
Board no longer pursuing Jovic (shocker) and is looking to loan out Arp and bring wunderkind Joshua Zirkzee to the first team to back up Lewa. Board is also making no attempt to hide tapping up CHO, which I’m sure will go over well with the Chelsea contingent. Also looking like Pépé is a matter of when, not if. James is almost certainly gone after his loan. Boateng will be sold and Hummels might go as well. Robben is already done but Ribery might get another year. Finally, wouldn’t shock me if a first team keeper gets signed this summer.
I’m surprised it didn’t happen during a game. Lewa doesn’t even try to hide his dislike for Coman. Having said that, this is the fourth or fifth fight at practice this season. Almost all of them involved Lewa, so take from that what you will.
What's the story there? Lewa being a cunt is believable but is he a shitty teammate or just have an issue with Coman?
He doesn’t like Kingsley not immediately passing him the ball in the box, like he’s got Müller and Goretzka doing. Kingsley is like Robben in that you know he’s going to try and beat you off the dribble and shoot. Difference is he doesn’t just go left every time. The others were mostly Lewa getting on people for loafing during practice, which is exactly what Hummels punched him for at the beginning of the season when Müller was named second captain after Neuer.
Neuer will be at the team’s presser tomorrow. He’s expected to retire from the DFB or Bayern or both. He got hurt again against Fortuna on Saturday and has been a shell of himself since Ancelotti and his fuckaround gang of dipshits blue falconed him last year. That sucks, but even more sucky is that Christian Fruchtl blew out his elbow week before last. This would’ve been perfect for him to get first team minutes. Now we’ll risk the double with Ulreich and Hoffman will be the sub. Not ideal.
de Ligt is so good for his age. Just better than some of the best players on the best teams in the world. And at age 19. Sure we got Lucas Hernandez and Pavard coming in but it would be an absolute shame if we didn't make Barca pay 9 figures for him to beat us to him.
His manager said that’s pretty much what’s happening, although he’s a Bayern man so it could be subterfuge
Going to the Pokal final against the fuckheads from Leipzig. Looking forward to Werner going full heel turn, ala Lothar Mathaus going from BVB to Bayern and snap hooking a PK accidentally on purpose.
I'm sure there's ZERO benefit to Bayern in this, and they're only doing this out of the generosity of their hearts.
