For the record, it's Hulu with ads, which costs just $5.99 a month now if you don't want/need Spotify.
Big fan of Hulu, if for nothing else it has Community, 30 Rock and King of the Hill Got the Black Friday 99 cent deal, but will probably keep it after next year
Got a link or more info on this? I've got a Spotify Premium Family plan. What would Hulu provide me that I don't already get with my YTTV or Netflix accounts?
https://www.spotify.com/us/hulu/ hulu gives you access to most show episodes during the season unlike Netflix. Plus they have some good original content.
Can I get Hulu with Spotify Premium for Family? No. At the moment, Hulu is included only with our individual Premium plan.
That's a weird decision they've made. Oh well...I honestly don't think I'd personally use Hulu much anyway.
It's really not that bad. The commercials during an episode are pretty minimal once you get past the cold open or opening credits. It's significantly less commercials than if you watched cable TV.
Curiosity Stream is 30% off until the 31st. So like $15 for the year. Looks to have a decent selection of documentaries. Launched by the Creator of the Discovery Channel.
Anyone have a work around to watch local baseball teams that are blacked out? I live in Denver and my 9 year old loves the Rockies.
AT&T about to get sued for lying to investors about DTV now. https://arstechnica.com/tech-policy...is-a-flop-and-att-lied-to-investors-about-it/
Hulu is pretty good. My wife got the $1 black Friday deal too and recently started up a The Shield watch, it's been years for me and she's never seen it.
Switching to YouTube TV in August when my dish contract is over, for those that have it positives/negatives for YouTube tv? Thx I’ll hang up and listen
I use YouTube tv during the football season so i can watch the bears in va..i like it alot.. you can DVR shows too.. its just like cable to me..it has the stations that me, my wife and kids watch..
I have it. No real negatives outside of the guide doesn’t scroll to later times. So I kept the app from my cable company which includes a TV guide if I am wondering what channel something is on later. Guide is fully customizable to sort channels and hide ones you won’t watch. Streaming has been solid and I have loved it. The only issue I have and it’s minor is some channels don’t play a commercial where a local provider would; say a commercial for a local car dealer; instead it shows the channel logo and in ESPNs case the music is annoying as fuck to me now that I have heard it so many times. DVR is solid, and I love being able to record anything and just not worry if I watch it or not. Hope that gives you some insight.
Yeah it looks like it has all the national channels, ESPN, SEC network etc. I just find myself watching things off of my DVR unless it’s a sporting event mainly football Switching to YouTube tv would cut my bill in half
I still have cable but paying monthly during fball season is cheaper than the sports bar lol.. I don’t see a lot of diff beween the two..
When viewing the guide click over to the left so instead of selecting a program you're selecting the specific station options. On that page you can view an extended schedule for that channel.
YTtv is really good, I dont watch much tv outside of football season but my wife loves it. She's able to watch her shows at work, unlimited DVR thanks to the cloud, multiple accounts, good streaming quality. I think it's pretty bad ass.
"YouTube TV is not available in your county" - error message to me, displayed when I tried to access my service in Vancouver.
YouTube TV adding 8 channels, and going up to $50 a month. Discovery, Food, HGTV, Travel, TLC, and ID are some of them.
It’s crazy the mental line people have when it comes to pricing 49.98 seems fine but $50 is a hell no I get it all the time working retail and at the vet

I don't mind it. I'm currently paying $173 for 200mb internet and cable package, and all I watch is pretty much what YTTV has, except for Science and AHC.
My wife will be happy, when we switched she lost TLC. I hope they dont keep raising the price though...
