Oh yeah, I still probably go to Bojangles and get some fried chicken breasts to munch on like once every other week or so when I'm feeling particularly fat. I just hold the fries, sweet tea, fixins, soft drinks, etc. that I didn't really ever need now.
I lost 10 pounds in March so total since January 1 is 55 pounds. Loss has definitely slowed down but I will be happy if I can continue to lose 10/month.
One thing I have noticed 4 months in is that I am losing less weight but more fat and inches on this diet. I’ve held steady at around the 180 mark but I am getting smaller. Not sure when but I am going to stop for a couple weeks then get back on but honestly I don’t miss much now that I’ve become less strict.
have been off and on keto over the past month, but the weight has held steady and the inches loft off the waist have stayed off. trying to get back on the train full time for the next month.
Last week was the first time I dropped from ketosis since the new year. Even the Vegas trip I was able to keep it together. I’m back in the saddle now though. Anus is just a faucet. Nothing solid has exited me since Saturday night. Had a handful of pepperonis for lunch and still not hungry. Just nailed a 45 minute stair session. Feels pretty good to be back.
found some 8 net carb huge burrito wraps at the grocery store the other day made a chicken quesadilla with one and woo boy was that nice taco/burrito tuesday is back
Anyone have a link to the casserole type recipes that were posted in here? Maybe a taco and/or cheese burger one?

Tell me about these Quest bars. Publix has these. Might not be the same type but the ones I saw seemed pretty damn high in carbs.
They have like 20 carbs but almost all of it is fiber so they come out to be like 4-6 net carbs per bar.
Explain this to me like I'm an idiot, which I am. I assume with the fiber it's not being processed by the body so it's not actually going against your carb count?
Nailed it. Day 11 of Keto. Down 10 pounds. So close to having real abs again. Hopefully they re-appear with another 10.
I prefer the Quest Hero bars. Chocolate caramel pecan is my favorite but the Blueberry Cobbler is also excellent. There’s also a low sugar Detour bar that is like a candy bar.
Hero bars are more like a candy bar whereas the regular ones are decent tasting protein bars but they still have that protein bar taste/texture and feel. I like the hero as a snack (sweet treat) the regular for a meal replacement.
I'm a big fan of the Perfect Keto bars though I've only tried the Lemon Poppyseed so far. They are certainly less sweet than the quest bars and the texture isn't near as dense. The macros are pretty damn good though. They also have MCT oil in them and grass fed collagen. The lemon ones are 2 net carbs, 18g fat, 11g protein per bar. The salted caramel and the chocolate ones look similar but the chocolate is 3 net g.
I really like the Quest chocolate chip cookies. They have twice the fat the bars have with the same net carbs, and are really nice when your craving something.
Can’t say enough good things about Mama Lupes tortillas. I’ve had them every day this week. Breakfast burrito for dinner. They taste as good as a regular tortilla to me.
Last night was the first time I was really craving a cheat meal. Ended up just ordering pulled pork with a little bit of BBQ sauce and one sausage and had 1/2 a serving of green beans and collard greens. Did the trick.
Down 2 jean sizes. Still at the 180ish mark which is wild to me. Losing fat more than weight I guess.
I made a taco one last night. Just browned some beef with taco season. Mixed cottage cheese, Mexican cheese blend and salsa together. Put the beef in a dish, cheese/salsa mix in top. Baked at 400 for 20 mins, dumped a layer of the Mex cheese blend on top, baked for another 10 mins.
Picked up some Lagunitas day time ipa. 3 grams of carbs per will report back. I am hoping they are decent because it will suck if they are nasty and don’t give me a buzz although the the 6 pack will be less than 20 carbs which will be cool.
Met up with a.tramp and Zack Zedalis at a brewery and enjoyed some excellent BBQ but was also peer pressured into drinking 4 or more beers. And ate mac & cheese. And elotes.
One life. We only get one so while we need to be healthy, what’s the point if we can enjoy it too? I am not going to abandon this lifestyle but I am also not going to go crazy either
Haven’t open one yet. I am going to start grilling at the end of the first game. So that’s when I will open it up. If it sucks I’ll drop a shot of the shitty bourbon I have so yeah it won’t matter then
Looks like you’ll need that shot. Hopefully it’s a solid tasting session type beer that you can pound.
