Agree that you can’t fault him. Good luck to him. And good luck to any GM who picks him in the lottery. You better have a lot of job security because Little is a 2-3 year project.
Theoretically as an athlete I agree. But his second half of the season success was mostly around the rim as a pseudo 4 man. At 6’7 he can’t do that in the NBA. He doesn’t have a single skill set to hang his hat on. He isn’t a great shooter, is not nearly as good off the dribble as expected, and outside of some highlight reel dunks isn’t a great finisher. I just don’t know where he fits in anytime soon.
I don't disagree that he needs more time to develop. NBA GMs draft on upside when it comes to the lotto so he will get paid to develop on a NBA roster. Ideally you like him to stay another year. Brandon Wright was another prospect in the same mold and what some of these kids don't understand is sure you will get the first contract. But staying a 2nd year to develop could be the difference from being 10th man or getting a max extension if you are able to take a big step. Even though NBA teams draft on upside its rarely developed because coaches are in win now mode.
nas had to go. couldn’t risk a mcadoo situation where he stays and is the main guy and becomes exposed
some guy who's supposedly close with Tucker's father says we've officially offered now with Nas departing and he's pretty optimistic regarding the outcome, he seems nice and I believe him, as far as I know he's never led me astray
the fact that hatchell had a job even before this is absurd. she's underachieved for years, recruiting has tanked and her rogue program almost got men's basketball in trouble 1994 was 25 years ago. put her out to pasture
I'd love to see Coby back and play with Cole Anthony if UNC lands him but I think White is all but gone.
Really need Cole to go ahead and ease our minds, also if A-LR could move up Tucker's graduation date that'd be great Think we'd probably roll out Brandon starting at the 2 with Rayjon still being a 3 if everything works out. Leaky's gonna need to be an all purpose backup so him starting at the 3 with Rayjon at the 2 wouldn't be optimal imo. I don't want to think about what happens if we don't reel in both of those guys though Maybe Roy has a few more tricks up his sleeves
Sounds like we're expected to land Auburn transfer Cam'Ron Kelly, would be nice getting another DB in the fold
i thought he was just a depth guy but reading up on him he is very highly rated. 218th overall in the class of 2019. if he was included in our 2019 class, it would actually push our ranking slightly ahead of nc state. should be immediately eligible too. hell yeah
Congrats but that kid is fucking nutty. I think he won the decommitment award this past Recruiting season.
Cole looked really fucking good in the Geico Nationals match up today (shocker I know). His poise and understanding of the game honestly reminds me a bit of Kendall, I think they should work together next year yes that sounds like a good idea indeed.
McKoy offered, 100% basing this off of his ranking and living just down the road, feel pretty certain he'll jump on that quickly
just saw the pic of his dad they want him to prep due to grades or just so he's more ready as a freshman?
add weight and be ready i think. idk that’s what someone on ic who’s friends with the family was saying so who knows
look at those sexy end zones also I find it funny that Mack practice info is even more tight lipped than Fedora's, way less annoying just cause though
ic on the verge of a meltdown now that cole's parents are visiting oregon this weekend can't wait for this stupid recruitment to end
and now papa anthony confirms he is not visiting this weekend so ic is happy again again, please end this nonsense already
I dunno I kind of enjoy the meltdown threads, but yeah I'm ready to have my mind eased regarding next year
like he's a much more sure thing and much less mixed signaling recruit than wendell moore was with duke and people are still freaking out about it.
he's not really. he has said from the start he is committing late april. fans and the media have imposed this expectation of an earlier commitment when he never gave an indication to expect one. he's also waiting to see what the rosters are like just to be sure he's not walking into an absolute dumpster fire plus this will be his only chance to be courted and enjoy the adoration that comes with the process and i don't really have a problem with an 18 year old taking the time with such a massive business decision in addition to life one
