Five on Monday, five on Tuesday and that's all they do in a week. He was out in LA for work the week prior so just hung around for an extra few days.
Steven on reddit re saying he would love a brothel/buffet: I may never be able to run for political office now, but it was TOTALLY worth it. That's a joke I'm only gonna get one shot to make. I have no idea what possessed me to say it, but I hope that whatever trickster improv comic spirit took control of my body pops back in every now and then. If I regret anything from this game, it's my singing. I know I'm way better at the rap parts of Hamilton than I am at the singing. Didn't play to my strengths at all on that one.
FUCK when I saw he crossed out "Elvis" in his final response I just about had a heart attack. What a wild ride. I will definitely, absolutely be going out to LA to watch the ToC.
yeah, he said this episode was really tough - they do three before lunch so this was his third back to back to back. and Shakespeare is probably his best category so I was shocked he missed those, but he said his brain was basically bleeding out his ears at that point. but this has an incredibly fun week - will keep you all updated if he makes the ToC (pretty sure he does, but you never know). Thanks for watching with me!
Let him know we were all rooting for him. Reddit has been really positive about him and the comments on the Jeopardy IG have been hilarious. So many people making fun of his shirts and wanting to have sex with him interspersed with mean comments from trolls
lol he's really, really been enjoying his tiny moment of fame. he's a good guy and I think that came across on TV. Alex really liked him as well.
Haven't watched tonight's (hasn't aired yet) but big congrats for Steven making it into the TOC with his 5th win. He should've been bounced if the gal in third place on Friday didn't wager anything in Final. I'll never understand how these very smart people fail to realize that if you are in 3rd place with decent money, you do not bet a thing. The odds of everyone getting it wrong are MUCH higher than just one person in third place getting it correct.
Has it been confirmed that it's that hatable looking douchebag? Because that would be super disappointing.
this is some of the worst shit I have seen a contestant do: http://kingjamesholzhauer.com/humbled.html
"King James Holzhauer is an unofficial fan site dedicated to James Holzhauer. Our purpose is to promote interest in James Holzhauer and his Jeopardy! appearance(s). We are in no way officially affiliated with James Holzhauer, his friends, or his family. This is a site made by a fan for the fans." lol I almost want to give him credit for a good schtick. People love a good villain and being the Jeopardy version of a wrestling heel is kind of a brilliant idea. But the reactions I read from a lot of very nice and generally mild-mannered trivia people plus the extreme douchery of this website makes him seem pretty genuine. But hey, if you're kind of a jerk and good at trivia, might as well turn it up to 11 and market that brand. It's the American way.
I read a little more on a Jeopardy board and some think this site may be someone trolling, possibly a member of the audience who would have known the guy's results. Food for thought.
This guy has 72600 before final Jeopardy right now, he's a machine Edit: ended with over 110k on the day
Single day record. Dude has game and some huge balls. Will be interesting to see how long his run lasts. Sooner or later he's gonna miss on one those big daily double bets.
