pretty much same here. Hit the G400 better overall but for how I wanted to customize it shaft wise, it was cheaper to get the M4.
All I want for Christmas is patrick reeds parents standing by the 1st tee when he tees off on Thursday
I kinda asked this in the purchase thread, but does anyone have a good lightweight jacket they like for cool mornings i.e. 50 degrees - looking for something I can wear on my walk into work and on the golf course.
Bought a previous years model of this when Golfsmith was closing its store in Myrtle a couple years ago https://www.footjoy.com/golf-appare...UqSKlK7k4NXjL48sWCugNz4xoCvUUQAvD_BwE&start=6
Are you only ever going to use it on a cart? I much prefer my stand bag over the cart bag I had a long time ago, even for just going to the range it's easier depending on what kind of stands the range has for bags
I got this bag for $46 brand new on eBay, and I do not have one regret https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00Q7RBIQ0/ref=cm_cr_arp_mb_bdcrb_top?ie=UTF8
Same price, and Sun Mountain makes a solid bag. Even comes in black and red for your gross Tech colors https://www.tgw.com/golf-bags/golf-stand-bags/sun-mountain-2016-three-5-stand-bag
Well we had a blast. The way parking was set up, pushed us to the north gates, which wasn't our original plan, but everything worked out. We got to the parking lot about 530am in the pouring rain. We waited about 30 minutes and went up to the north gate. 5 seconds after we got there, they motioned us up to stand under the bridge out of the rain. Winning. About 30ish minutes later they let us in. I am proud to say my ticket was in the first 10 total scanned for the day. As we went in it stopped raining/just drizzled. Taking that walk down past the practice area is just insanely beautiful. The grass is perfect everywhere, practice bunkers manicured and perfect imitations of the courses. We get to the north side area by the clubhouse and go into the shop. Dropped near $900 on a ton of swag. You have the option of checking it in or shipping it, I shipped it home as I had a flight to catch and no room for the stuff. I also bought an umbrella and a chair. The line later in the day was absolutely insane so it was the right move. The shop is literally the most bonkers thing I've ever seen. The inside is literally the size of a target, with stations for each item, where you walk up to a counter, look up and everything is numbered. You say #93 Large and they grab one for you to inspect. Big shopping bags are provided. One of the highlights through out that I'll touch on is the absolute efficiency and insane amount of staff. There are 40+ security stands, there were 50+ check outs, each concession felt like it has 25+ people working. I waited for really nothing. Once we bought and shipped the gear we went down and got a chicken biscuit and beer. About that time around 8am the course opened. We walked the back 9 in reverse to 11/12/13 interchange. We set up our chairs on 12 where you can see approaches into 11, all of 12 and 13 tee. We walked back to 16 and watched some balls skipped across. About then the alarm sounded and they kicked us out. Two hours later we were back in, the line to get back in was absolutely insane as everyone tried to come back in at once. That was literally the only negative of the day beyond the early rain. Once back in we walked the front in order. Watched 2 for a while which is fun to see approaches into downhill par 5. We walked 2-7 and then cut back across to our seats for a few hours. Tried all the specialties. Had the pimento cheese sandwich which was good not great, the egg salad, the bbq sandwich which was delicious (took a bbq and a pimento together as suggested by a patron, delicious) and the peach ice cream sandwich (also delicious). I probably spent 20 total on the course, with all that food and a good bit of beers. About 5 it was time to go and we walked down 10/18, which is an absolute bitch of a walk back up that hill. Its almost cliche now but the elevation on the course is spectacular. 1 is so far up, 2 so far down, 9/10 and 18 the same, etc. etc. The thing I enjoyed the most is how open it is. Near the entry 1/9/10/18 is one big open area. It was such an enjoyable experience. Definitely a bucket list item checked off, but I will be coming back for many years to come. Once I get my camera photos done and the gear in I will post pics.
The merch operation is literally awe inspiring in terms of how it’s set up. It’s the most efficient thing I’ve ever seen.

Went yesterday: - I have been fortunate to go multiple times but that was my first Wednesday. Definitely my favorite day that I've been - Sandwich power rankings 1)egg salad 2) barbecue 3) the club -Jena Sims >> Paulina - One tee box, DJ spit out dip spit and then proceeded to hit a 300 yard + baby draw moments later -Spotted John Daly smoking a cigarette in the Hooters parking lot at 9 AM -Lou Holtz was sitting at the 2nd hole of the par 3 course and was extremely entertaining -Fred Couples is probably the most popular golfer out there besides Tiger Overall, just an awesome experience
Hey @1 good news MODEVIL just ordered new Callaway irons so now you and him have the same company with your irons
Vegas Golf Recs? I've already played Rio Secco, Bears Best, Paiute Snow Mtn, Las Vegas National and Dessert Pines
I'll be there for a week and will be looking to kill an afternoon. What's your recommendation for the best place if I've never golfed in Vegas and will need to rent clubs? Cost doesn't really matter.
So that Evnroll putter I bought, just don’t like it. Would trade it in but he value just wasn’t there. Might sell it somewhere else for a loss. Was at the store and picked up the ping sigma 2 tyne. I picked up one in a 33.5 set up and it just felt amazing. And then started taking lessons with a new person at @1 ‘s club. Also super excited that Tiger was able to pull out the win.
