Feel that. I have the last Stronghold left tonight if I can find time to do it. Going to feel so good to have that grind over with for.... 14 hours until WT5 drops.
Wasn't too bad until 3-4 for me. Usually had the gear score to jump up after the invaded missions and stronghold. 3-4 and then 4-5 took some time doing CPs
Your retorts are always full of malice and seemingly pent up angst. Why don’t you just say you disagree and why so we can have constructive discourse. Cleaner version of borderlands meaning graphically it’s prettier. Straightforward meaning the story is plottable and obvious. The game tells you what you should do if you’re unsure about progression. It also has crafting which borderlands didn’t have. D2 is a looter shooter like Borderlands hence my comparison using said words. Borderlands allows the use of vehicles which I guess I could have mentioned as a difference however I’m not playing borderlands to use vehicles. And yes borderlands has a straightforward quest line, however, that’s about it in terms of progression aside from exploration. D2 also has multiple versions of PVP. I’m not hating on Borderlands. I love it. I’ll be buying in September 13th, or whenever. I was trying to communicate he should enjoy the game were he to buy it.
It’s literally a looter shooter. It exists because of Borderlands. To say it’s not in any form is asinine.
There are different tiers of weapons in terms of quality. There are loot boxes to open and things you pick up off bosses. You get more damage from headshots etc. Weapons have types of damage which is similar to ammo boxes you can loot in D2. There is a large open world full of exploration. Instead of a hunter/character chosen at the start you get a specialization later in the game and specific tree which you plot as you level up/accomplish tasks. It’s an experience based game. You can play with your friends. You interact with NPCs at your base to progress the storyline. I mean it’s a game in a similar vein.
Thought so myself until I tried it...do you guys use an 8x for a semi auto rifle? If not then it’d take some getting used to but I’ve been 8x on MK17 for a good minute. 8x AR is the same thing just less recoil and don’t have to wear your trigger finger out.
Few on r/thedivision to pick from. One guy added a pretty awesome utility to his (division 2 loadout builder I think). Back sheets are lists of all weapons, gear, brands, mods, talents with their gear comparability and stat effects. He recently added the loadout building part. Fill in your current build to the entry parts (drop down arrows for everything except for gear attribute bonuses & weapon dmg and fire rate type manually) and it updates your weapon burst and sustained dps numbers, all percents for weapon, gear, etc. Much better than having to flip back and forth between INV and scrolling thru primary and secondary summary pages in-game if you want to compare stuff quickly or dick around st work
Just hit WT5. Working on getting my gear score and specialization up. Xbox: TonyWonder4 I can’t always mic up bc of kids but feel free to add me.
XB1 clanless search for JAWNS clan and request. We only have 7 which makes getting weekly clan caches impossible. Few more people and we could get some of that super loot.
Have done the first 3 Incase’s missions and 2 CPs in WT5 and all the gear I’ve gotten isn’t as good as my WT4 stuff. May be afraid of change. My gear just has the perfect brand set and talent combos. I don’t think I’ll find the same pieces with the same stuff at higher levels.
Invited you a few times to play, guess you just don’t like me..... But really, our clan has 30 or so, is level 19 or 20 So if you want in sure
There is a lot to do. You have the invaded missions then the strongholds. I am running the hard wired missions to get components. I just got merciless from a normal difficulty Bank Headquarters. I haven't even started the hunters or blue prints etc. Lots to do just depends on what you are looking to do. I haven't even gone into the Dark Zones yet.
That's the end game. Grinding new gear, doing the hunters, blueprints, exotic pieces etc. Finding the sets, eventually the raid gets released
Sir, you are delusional. Not only bc of this comment but also bc you said the same thing about overwatch last week.
There's plenty to do just not anymore new content for story mode after Tidal Basin. I've still got 8-9 side missions that have been available since i was in the ~15 level range. Can do them now and get 1/3 XP of a FP cache at max GS and the gear all drops at top tier. Lots of blueprint drops in the CPs I haven't started attempting to get. At this point it's probably time to actually look over all the gear variations out there and attempt to pick out ones of each type to look for and make specific builds for raids. have a feeling between now and then they do something to appease the skill build people. Got a loadout for sniper spec + Rifle/AR I like for solo or coop saved. Tonight started messing around with a survivalist + AR/Chatterbox + mini shield.... was actually pretty damn fun. Had to sacrifice some crit chance to get up to 1400 skill power for a couple of the good mods (regen rate and shield health). Pair that thing with the special seeker healer that comes with survivalist and it's a real enjoyable style. If you put the shield up before it dies then it regens while holstered... and had no idea you could use an AR with it. Survivalist AR dmg boost +15% gets mine to AR bonus to 45% and 21% all weapons dmg. Chatterbox sweetens the ROF up real nice and the real pro tip is to let someone clip you a couple of times to activate Bezerk before putting up shield and play with tight butthole hoping your shield holds when you're playing rambo with no armor. seeker heals pretty quick though (or use revive hive) tl;dr - was kinda diggin the shield life a little tonight
Looter shooters are all about the grind. I am still not even at GS 500 yet. As far as the grind goes what I like about Division 2 is that there are a lot of different types of content you can do to grind gear and get rewards. Love that you can do almost everything solo as well.
Is there a destiny thread or nah? Fuck outta here go talk about your space guardians somewhere else. Division agents ITT
i will discuss what i want where i want and when i'm specifically discussing division end game grind i'm going to do it in the fucking division thread.
Doing a run on hyena boxes last night, it’s a thunderstorm and night On the other side of a fence pops out a hunter Scared the crap out of me
Had never played with gaming headphones until about two months ago with red dead redemption. I don’t know how I played Division I without headphones. It really is a game changer when it comes to hearing footsteps and stuff, but I have almost gone DEF using a mini gun and during certain parts of thunderstorms
