I'd like to try them out. You wear them with no underwear right? I don't wanna be selling hot dogs every time I wear these.
Man appliances are a god damn racket. I bought a not cheap at all fridge a year ago and that piece of shit just quit working after the last piece of shit fridge I bought crapped out after 7 years. And I've replaced a washer/dryer combo in that same time frame. All different brands, as well. I feel like we need to have a national conversation about poor appliance quality.
Just an FYI damn near everything is Whirlpool. Kitchenaid, Jenn-Air, Maytag, it's all Whirlpool I worked there for a summer in college and it was as close to a monopoly as anything at that time. The high end shit is nicer but yeah, it's Whirlpool. Edit, that said, they do make good shit for the most part. My whole house is the upper end of the "Whirlpool" line.
Is the upper heating element supposed to be on during bake? Mine for some reason only seems to come on when set to broil, but the lower element can scorch food when baking. Debating whether to get a repairman out or replace it since I’m not a fan anyway. 8-10 year old Maytag.
During a bake cycle both should be on, Broil is only top. If it works there the element is ok, Sounds like a board issue. which is a bitch and would likely be easier and maybe cheaper to buy new.
i went with all ge when i redid my kitchen. happy so far all appliances seem to be about the same (especially the whirlpool brands) until you start getting into the elite stuff
Picked up a fancy Nokona Bloodline Pro Elite baseball glove. Not sure why. I don't have kids, nor neighbors. I don't even know any kids. The dog can't throw. It's pretty stiff and is going to need broken in. Am I going to get arrested if I just show up to some school looking to play with kids?
I have two nokona gloves. My dog is named nokona and now I want the sandles made out of nokona leather. I use one for softball though. https://www.harimari.com/pages/hari-mari-x-nokona
It’s fun seeing the board finally getting introduced tatertot’s buying habits. They’re well established with those of us in the firearm thread.
I picked one up for softball (not a bloodline but an elite) and moved to an area where there’s no softball leagues. I offered to buy my nephew any glove he wanted and tried to talk him into a Nokona like mine (except for baseball) but he wanted a Wilson A2K instead because he sees more of those on TV. I have someone to throw with now, but I feel like a dork catching a baseball in what basically feels like a wicker basket for softballs.
I need some comfortable dress shoes for work, I get pretty bad foot pain because I'm a little bitch I guess. I bought these about a year and a half ago, and they seemed to work but the last couple months my feet have been killing me at the end of the day. I don't spend a lot of time on my feet, but some walking around. Anyone have a brand or style they like that last a while and are also comfortable wearing every day.
New Dell Inspiron 15 7000 Laptop I'm excited to finally have an SSD hard drive. https://www.dell.com/en-us/shop/del...7000/spd/inspiron-15-7580-laptop/nnkyr5ws124s
Anyone had a pair of Four Brothers before? I like the style of this shoe, but never heard of them before. Spoiler https://www.dsw.com/en/us/product/four-brothers-leather-oxford/449339?activeColor=221
If you have been wearing them to work every day for 1.5 years then it's probably time to replace them anyways.
I have a few pairs of Cole Haans, one of them from the zerogrand line. With all of the various iterations I’ve taken out their inserts and put in a Dr Scholl’s insert or off brand insert. You’ll have to cut them to fit, and for the first week or so they may be a little compact but will eventually wear down to fit your foot. It’s a game changer for me.
Over 20, more than my wife. Maybe 7-8 bit loafers, 4-5 AE lace ups, another 6 loafers, and then a few driving shoes and rubber soles for the rain. It's a tad excessive.
I have about 20 pair that I rotate with the seasons. Mostly chukkas (leather and rubber soles) and boots in the cooler months with loafers, drivers and lace ups for warm weather. Mostly AE with a few Cole Haan and Uggs thrown in. One day you and I are gonna meet up and have a beer or six.
