I thought you might, although I couldn’t remember what side of the Great Hendo Debate you were on with/against Illini
So once this grueling task is finished, what's the sim timeline look like? Is it like a week of games a day or every couple days? How long does it take to get through the entire season, etc.? Just curious
We basically just badger SugarShaun to sim as often as possible, encouraging to ignore his wife and social obligations. I can give you his phone number if you prefer to leave him verbally abusive voicemails, a lot of us do it that way.
Basically a sim per day so around a month and a half. I run sim, post what happened and what changes are needed so people have around 24 hours to get me their changes. If I get them faster and have time, we may get more than 1 sim in a day. I also typically set up a league cup and a UEFA Champions League (I'll throw some of the leftover players onto some other squads so that the cpu might have a chance to compete with us). However, I have to set these up separately so injuries don't crossover. So you could have a player injured in 1 competition but not in another. Makes it fun if you get ravaged with injuries in the league but stay healthy and make a deep run in another competition you can still talk about how well you drafted.
You're contradicting the spirit of the draft, and this is the part that I've never understood. What we should do outside the sim is have a poll where anyone on TSB can vote for who drafted the IRL best squad. Everyone makes a post with their lineup etc.
I've been top 3 the last couple years in the sim, then you fuckers stole Alaba from me and now I'm lost.
If it makes you feel any better, as I read this reply just now I was looking down at my phone while walking through a park and I walked through an area where a goose is apparently laying eggs and her very defensive husband threatened me
It started by me saying "hey, would you guys like the extra competitions" and people were like "yeah' so then I was like "cool" and then I made more competitions for Nexus to win
Oh I don't have a problem with that, I just think a poll would add layers to it, give the people a chance to look at the squads and vote based on real life.
I feel like while there was no poll that people used to come in and comment on the squads more. Gunners was always good for that
