Well, he set a total world record. Not sure if they didn't show his 3rd lifts or if he didn't even attempt them.

I don’t think he attempted the C&J world record. That 260 jerk looked tough. I can’t imagine what he can clean.

Used the farmer walk handles for first time. Really like how hard it is to stabilize them, way more of a full body workout then doing walks with dumbbells.

 

Got a mini peak/test for this next block before we finish building towards the meet in August. Hoping to set some nice big gym PRs in 4 weeks

 

Overhead pressing today and admittedly I did put the weight back pretty loudly on my last set but old guy comes up to me and says I could kill someone doing that.

My favorite moment with the old people since some lady swimming in the lane next to me says I could drown her because I was doing butterfly.

Morning sucked for me. Was supposed to do 430x5 for 3 sets. Got 1 set then body was just like no more. Finished workout well in the late afternoon and glutes are already firing a bit so decent day I guess. Plus 430 was over my max coming into this year.

yeah, i hadn't seen anything like that. i had to slow way down between reps because my form was totally falling off later in the sets.

And CJ “hold my dick” Cummings won gold on his opening C&J and finished with a 191/421lb C&J for a Junior, Senior, Pan Am, and World Record
