All of the injuries have sucked real bad and all, but I've had a ton of fun watching these guys the past week or so.
Clint not in lineup again tonight after hurting ankle on Monday. He will be fine and could play but Jesus just another guy banged up.
Loss of Frazier is huge right now, imo. Kid finally got everything clicking, now they're saying something is torn in his ankle.
I can’t believe they are winning these games with this lineup and average starting pitching/bullpen help. Looks like Stanton now has shoulder issues too.
They only trail in the Indians in WAR for pitchers. https://www.fangraphs.com/leaders.a...nd=0&team=0,ts&rost=0&age=0&filter=&players=0
Yeah, that’s for the season. I’m just referring to this winning streak. For example; CC struggled last night and the bullpen the night before. Happ wasn’t good early in his start, but settled down. The bullpen was horrific in the last game against KC. I think that the hitting has been timely and the team has been excellent at manufacturing runs when they need them. Just an overall gritty team effort. Very impressive
Agreed. 6 games left on this swing (LAA, SF, ARI) and if you look at the pitching matchups, I like the way they shake out. Tanaka is going twice and Paxton is going against Bumgarner. Hopefully the yanks go 4-2.
This fucking team man. It makes no sense that they are winning but damn it's fun to see these kids winning. Urshela at cleanup. I keep waiting for Voit to remember he's Voit but hesh just a meathead that keeps mashing. Jimmy the Saint need our icon back

We won This team might have less name recognition than the 2016 one that last visited AZ but damn if I’m not excited to go watch this bunch.
German's improvement has been incredible. His stuff was so good last year but he'd just walk so many people. Huge improvement in that area this year. 4 innings of one hit, no walk pitching so far. Edit: he walks a Austin and then throws a wild pitch as soon as I'm typing this
Yeah I'll take full responsibility for my role in that. But I think 4 earned through 6 has been his worst start statistically for the year. From a guy that we didn't expect a lot from coming into the year, I'll take it. Must suck as a pitcher to dominate all game and see it go to shit in one inning though.
Left after 3 innings and 60 pitches. Nothing announced yet but he was in the hallway with Steve Donahue. Holder came in and got more pitches to warm up due to Paxton leaving with an injury.
This is just utterly ridiculous. This is an absurd number of injuries for one season and we’re barely out of April.
I have to say, even after sitting through two pretty boring games in person this week, waiting for this house of cards to fall down yet somehow keep staying up is pretty interesting albeit not ideal.
Sac bunt in the 4th. Stealing bases. We're just playing small ball. I know analytics says its.not good but it's fun to watch and it's working right now. We're not just sitting back and waiting on the 3 run HR.
G46 looks like we were both wrong. You said Wade. I said Tauchman. Boone was right with Urshela. That kid has been raking. Hitting .350 with a .900+ OPS. Cant say I expected that out of him but I'll take it.
Yep, didn’t think we’d see this. Hopefully it holds up, he was always an outstanding fielder, that bat just wasn’t there. Good problem to have with Urshela, Lemahieu, and Andujar all capable of playing 3B.
I was dozing off on my couch so I called it a night and went to bed after they stranded runners in the 8th.
Daughter is sick and wouldn't lay down unless it was in our bed with wife and I so I called it a night about 9:45. Theyd just started back from the rain delay. Told wife I had a feeling the Yankees would come back. Daughter wanted to watch Mickey as she went to sleep so we watched Mickey. She woke me up at 3am and that's when I saw the score. Almost woke wife up to tell her but figured that wouldn't be a good decision.
