One of those names is not like the others. Glad they aren't going to waste Mize's time with more Lakeland starts. If he keeps performing anywhere near that level, I bet he makes a start in Detroit sometime late this season.
Reynaldo Lopez has 14K through 6IP against us. He had a 7.4 ERA and 6.5 FIP coming into the day. Cool.
My guess is people are bitching at him because the team sucks, and he's attempting to say it's not the players' fault that they suck. It's the front office's fault for creating a scenario where players who suck are forced to play. But he tried to do it in a way that called fans stupid before correcting mid-stream to talk shit about the front office for some reason.
Only things that really concern me about Bleday are 1) this is the first year he's had real power production, and I'm skeptical of a guy who hits 22 HR and 8 doubles with his history; and 2) to get to this power production this year, he's struck out a lot more and I'm curious how that plays as a pro. I think Bleday is a better pick than Greene based on what I've seen, but part of that is because the reports on Greene are kind of all over the map.
We really fucked up winning a couple extra games last year. Good point on strike out rate. He’s striking out at 30%. That’s not good. Sounds like Greene doesn’t really have a position.
Greene is a LF and probably a decent enough one. Bleday is striking out in the 19% range, which is probably average-ish for a college power guy in the 1st round at this point.
Even Gardenhire thinks Avila sucks. He had no idea who this loser was until this morning. Rebuild is going great
I don't understand what you want out of this organization right now, other than for the GM to be fired
