Let’s get this going. I have endless trust in this dev team and am very excited to see how this game feels.
You’ll be fine. The thing to remember is that From is always fair. If you fuck up, learn from it and try not to repeat any mistakes. Once it clicks it’s like a cheat code
And if it's at all like Souls there are always ways to make these games easier if that is what you want to do.
Oh shit when you die, you don't leave behind your souls or whatever they're called in this game. You just straight up lose half.
Hello I think I really want to get this game. I’m loving the character/creature design and aesthetic, and seeing that it’s less difficult than Souls/Bloodborne. How’s the learning curve?
You will need to be ok with failure. I will say it does a much better job of explaining mechanics than Soulsbourne. Also, I would not say it's easier at all.
I’d argue that having played souls makes you worse at this game. My muscle memory is all wrong. I’m trying to dodge wayyyyy to much when I should just parry. I didn’t even know about the whole mechanic of jumping over horizontal slashes and jumping off their head for huge posture damage until I watched a guy beat the tutorial boss that is supposed to be a scripted death.
Pro tip always check with the swordsman that trains you at temple I didn't know how to counter those death moves until he showed me. As you progress in the game he opens up more tutorials.
I’ve gotten the hang of it now. Once I knew to step into the attack and jump over the horizontal ones it’s been much easier.
When you find it. There is some jumping around that you can do, it's hard to explain. Basically try it and if its too hard try somewhere else.
I figured I'd just run by this guy since I had no health, but it didnt work out so well. Not even sure what happened on the second death
1) I absolutely love this game 2) Divine Confetti is fucking stupid. It's bullshit that you don't get but a few throughout the game while it's pretty much required in certain fights.
This game is definitely harder than soulsbourne. So many hard bosses towards the end that were like what you got on ds3 or bloodbourne dlc. Don't feel as much need to replay it though without gear or classes. I basically only ever used one combat art much at all.
Thought I beat Spoiler Guardian Ape on the first try...and then the second phase started. This could be my favorite boss in all of souls. It's absolutely incredible.
Almost done with NG+ right now. A few more endings to run through, then unlock all skills for the platinum
I’d get this immediately if I didn’t already have a wild PS backlog Will def kop but wait for a price drop
lol Wu you cuck you absolutely did use your Best Buy gamers club discount and got it for $38 and change
