We’ve had complaints about our dogs barking. Looking for a camera for the back yard that will alert me based on sound, not motion. Does anything exist?
1. any expandable hoses worth a damn? see some good reviews on amazon but feel like it's just going to spring a hole in it before too long. I'm needing A LOT of length to get to some new trees in my backyard being planted, so will combine this with my front yard hose for a bit, but should be solid after i'm done watering trees for a year? 2. also needing a solid pillow rec. I'm a 100% side sleeper, like firmer pillows but not memory foam style. I've looked at the Purple model that has soft feel but longevity promise? https://purple.com/pillows/plush-pillow
lol their is manliness to hose selection? news to me. I don't care about the weight, but if it's going to consolidate to take up less space on my back patio, then I was gonna go with it. please send your top manly hose recommendation you manly man a.tramp
and i sarcastically busted back. Sorry I did not use sarcasm font. per a little more internet research, this one is highly recommended through various tests:
I don't know why I really thought about this until now, but the hose talk got me thinking, do kids nowadays even get drinks out of the hose? Is that even a thing anymore?
We have a Brita extension on our hose for Ayden and Breighellen to drink from if they’re playing outside.
I'm pretty sure if I told my 11yo daughter to get a drink of water out of the hose she would look at me like I was speaking a foreign language.
My mother would lock us out of the house on weekends so she could mop and clean. Without the hose we’d die of thirst. We’d go take pulls off of neighbors faucets if we were too far from the house. Kids today.
I have a cheap Yi camera for the nursery - the app has an alert that can be set independently from motion.
this is the one i have. like it so far https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B07DQ61SCD/ref=ppx_yo_mob_b_inactive_ship_o0_img?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Goddamn this post made me nostalgia hard. Had the exact same experience hopping from house to house for water in between adventures in the woods or nerf football games like I was Maud’Dib.
I have fond memories of hose drinking. Just the perfect balance of metallic and plastic notes that upped the refreshment factor
I have two of these (one for front of house and one for back). Three years old now and just as good of shape as when I bought them. They are very well made. I hook them up and store it in a hose box that winds up the hose with a crank.
I remember is playing like 4 hours from home in high school and one I'd the freshman forgot the cooler. The opposing team said don't worry we got you. Filled their back up cooler with very little ice and 100 percent hose water from the same hose they use to water the field.
I’ve had bad luck with those types of hoses. If you don’t have great water pressure they don’t really work well. The pressure in our neighborhood is bad so I had to put in a pump for the sprinkler system just for enough pressure. May be something you might want to consider if you’re attaching multiple hoses.
Our watering stations during practices was pvc pipes held up by wooden sawhorses with holes drilled into the pipe and a hose screwed into it.
Back in my day you didn’t even get water during practice. Water was for after practice, actually after the bull ring after practice, actually after the sprints after the bull ring after practice. Man, I’m glad I’m still alive.
Water is for cowards. Water makes you weak. Water is for washing blood off that uniform and you don't get no blood on my uniform.
Our coach was like that forever but then a kid died during 2 a days in a nearby town. After that we got an additional 2 water breaks and warned to not die during practice.
He said he didn’t want to call our “mommy’s” and tell them that their kid “decided” he wanted to die.
Needed for basic browsing and Netflix streaming so cheapest that will do the job I guess. Old one cost around $40-50 iirc but spontaneously went out on me after a few years of use
Same. Then we got a new coach my senior year that made a huge deal to maximise water intake during practice claiming that it would prevent cramping. I never got cramps before or after but thats the most hydrated I've ever been.
If you like sipping rum then try this stuff out, purchased some in Mexico last week and it's the ripe tits. Spoiler
