Publix is running their first ever Buy 1 Get 1 on Key West Wheat and Golden Lagers. Just picked up a case of the wheat for $15
Officially out of that $15 case, but did have a sweet Cuban cigar and some rum brought back from my neighbor that is a Navy pilot. Cuba has some good shit if you can get your hands on it
This thread reminds me, I need to check out Aldi. I hear good things about it. LOL @ "most energetic and most helpful employees" wtf
This ain't ya Grandma's Aldi's. No really though it isn't what I walked into 15 years ago and walked right back out of. It's a cheap knock-off Trader Joe's, and I mean that in a nice way.
I tried to go to a new Winn Dixie that was nearer to me than the closest Publix. The prices were higher for the stuff we buy. I usually just stock up in bogos when it's a house item. I have like 8 chicken broths ready to go.
That gave me a bit of a douche chill as well. "Hop to it boy! Fetch my items!" "Oh yes sir! May I do a tap dance for you too?"
Publix will always have a place in my heart and you can’t top their subs for a grocery store, but Sprouts is far superior on many other levels since I’ve moved out of the southeast. For one, I’m no longer getting ripped off on pricing. And sprouts has some of the best pricing on produce anywhere. Trader Joe’s - don’t get the hype. They’re usually tiny, have limited produce sections, have way too much prepackaged/marinated meats and proteins, and all the stuff they are generally famous for is processed garbage. I’ve concluded it’s for people who think they’re hip but too poor for Whole Foods and honestly don’t know shit about food/nutrition.
One Brother owns Aldi and the Other Owns Trader Joe's. Then they both own Aldi in Germany. Or something like that. They use some of thee same providers and don't compete against each other the US. Won't see an Aldi close to a Trader Joe's. I go to Aldi for some stuff, but not for all my grocery's. F Publix. I can never find anything I need in that place. Hot Chocolate should have Marshmallows close it. But no I have go go searching through the whole store to try and find them. Little Debbie has its own sections no where close to the Snacks or Cookie isles. F that place. Also jacked up prices.
TJs, Aldis, and a supplement of a Kroger/Whole Foods/Safeway when I need a quick item, specific brand, or soaps/cosmetics
sprouts produce has great pricing but all packaged shit in the store is super expensive. That's why TJs is better
So your house is just barren of any food from the packaged section? I don't get it. who knew people who ate fresh produce were healthier!
what in the flying fuck does that have to do with a lack of exercise and washing a pack of Oreos down with a two liter of diet Dr Pepper
