Yeah we heard about it awhile ago, which made sense as to why they said his early transfer was a “mutual decision”
really bummed me out reading about this. they've let so many kids get through, hell we got Sims in with his bullshit request.
Nothing to see here. Tried to cash a check before we'd deposited the funds. Dopey is out in Cali to double the payment.
Had a Lean Cuisine buffalo chicken with cheddar mashed potatoes and a water drink. Tasty, but I’m still hungry.
Lmao The decision stems from a request Steele made to the staff during his first month on campus, the source said. He asked to be moved to a different dorm because he was uncomfortable rooming with quarterback Jalon Jones, his classmate. The staff did not plan to move Steele until the summer, which upset Steele and his parents, according to the source.
On one hand, you kinda side with your staff in thinking bitching about who he's rooming with might be prima donna central...then the Jalon story drops and you're on the side of the kid. Either way, we(whoever is in charge of that decision of moving him - our staff, I guess?) handled it poorly.
I agree with you and we don’t know all of the details. Kid could be saying this solely to be eligible immediately. That’s where we are nowadays
Can we get some updated final 2019 class recruiting rankings now that the Florida Gators have lost 2 prized recruits Jack Parkman thx
I can see Steele's point of view, really can. Your 18 with NFL dreams and your name shows up on Fox news and NY times website for Jones dumbass wanting to get his rocks off. Name slandered...that's how today works. He'll answer those questions in 3yrs to teams. Diva or not I don't know but the staff definitely fuked up here. Fuck cali football players indeed too.
Yeah, from the moment the Jalon story drops, Steele's request makes perfect sense and I'm 100% on his side at that point. But if you're a UF fan, you have to hope there was some sort of reason they didn't just move him when he asked. There has to be some reason they didn't do this very simple thing.
I'm inclined to agree...but fans are immediately going to say, "well, how many of the top staffs in the country would have just made this work?" I don't know the answer to that. Maybe this was inevitable. Maybe he was looking for a reason to transfer(that's a rumor floating around out there) and this was just the chance. It seems to happen a lot with west coast kids(at least at UF).
Imagine caring this much about a rival that you stalk twitter for any news about the team. I certainly can’t.
Our whole WR corps is going in on him. We did a shit job with handling him and Jalon, but it’s pretty obvious the team knew he’d been looking for a way out for a minute.
