Anyone ever seen Three Days of the Condor? Classic film that the Russo brothers were heavily influenced when making the Winter Soldier. And who’s the star of Condor? Robert Redford. Give it a watch when you have time. It also imo makes TWS even more of an awesome movie.
I’m going to keep this going in regards to my favorite comic characters: the X-Men. Should Feige/Marvel start off the franchise by slowly introducing characters in other films? Or just do it with a bang like GOTG? Then who exactly? You cast the next Wolverine? Cyclops?
lol at the end, "three days of the condor," based on the novel "six days of the condor." That was also my favorite part about the modernization of Romeo & Juliet, their love affair stretched out over weeks or months or something, yet it always is compressed to an impassioned 48 hours or so.
Zac Efron is my Wolverine Charlie Hunnan or Nicolai Coster-Walder if you need a slightly older Wolverine.
Peter Parker gets sucked into the multiverse in Far From Home and meets the Fantastic 4 who tries to get him back to his universe.
Well we know MCU and Feige will do it right. Because he’s a weapons contractor and his “powers” are his vast capability of technology, I think you could introduce Forge as the first X-Man. He can used in many ways throughout many stories. Almost as the middle man.
And I would gladly let them. Their comedy background plus experience with Marvel ensambles would be perfect
From an askreddit about "what's your greatest 'I fucking called it' moment?" \\\\ Let me preface this by saying that my dad was kind of a macho, military nut. I mean, he used to be. Apparently he was kind of a bad ass and went on a million tours with his army buddies, but I didn't really know him like that (he was always a pretty chill, peaceful guy when I was growing up), so I saw his weapon collection as a sort of relic of his past. I wasn't really allowed to touch any of his stuff, as he kept it locked away, except for one particular weapon/gift (more on this in a moment). He gave it to me as a sort of symbol of my entrance into adulthood, and when he eventually passed away it became the only real heirloom I had to remember him by. Anyway, I noticed that whenever I hung out with one of my closest friends, he'd always be eyeing this thing. Even if we were just sitting around, it felt like he wanted to take it and swing it around like it was a toy. I explicitly told him that it was special to me, and it really wasn't meant for other people to play with. He assured me that he wasn't interested at all, but I could never shake the feeling that he was going to just snag it while I wasn't looking. I even asked him one day if he wanted to hold it, just to get it out of his system, but the dude pretended like that wasn't even an option. So, of course, the other day while we're each doing our own thing in the yard, I get distracted for just a moment and I see my goddamn hammer flying through the air - the guy just up and takes it, then swings it around like he owns the thing. I knew it. \\\\ this one got me so damn good
It’s one of my favorite movies. Max von Sydow is excellent and the portrayal of Stockholm Syndrome with Faye Dunaway is excellent.
I know its a running joke that in the MCU that their first solo outing, the hero faces a dark reflection of themselves but I would've love to see Crimson Widow as the main villain of the upcoming Black Widow movie
I'm taking 4 year old to see her first MCU movie (Captain Marvel) tomorrow. She has really shown an interest in superheros over the past few months, and I thought this was the right fit for her first one. I'm excited to eventually watch all the films in order with her from the beginning when she is ready.
Took the 5 year old to pick out a mother’s day card. I was showing her several then she points and says that’s the one. I look up and give it to her. She goes daddy we have to get this one, it’s Captain Marvels. She’s my girl. She loves the DC Super Girls.
Last minute trying to buy ticket for viewing 3 tomorrow AM and legit having problems finding tickets for matinee times. Shit is crazy. This is the third weekend.
