He had some wheels but really put himself into a tight spot and didn’t have the elusiveness to get out
Beautifully played game. Soroka has been amazing. Riley already making his presence known. BDC doing what he does. This team can be good. Ace time tomorrow. Do it again, Ace.
He and Bae. I mean imagine a 4-way with you chuck, bae and fried’s flow? Like just their hair. I’m hotter than two squirrels fucking in wool sock just thinking about it.
Seriously though how damn good is Charlie Culberson? Dude just steps in whenever his name is called and more times than not he steps up big. What an incredible piece you can just pull off the bench and not miss a beat at the plate.
So, when Ender comes back what happens? Riley is here to stay. Do we go with a 5 man bench and keep Ender as a backup CF/late inning defensive substitution/ pinch running guy? Do we look for a trade so soon? Do we shoot him?
everyone please keep a certain unnamed poster in your thoughts and prayers. seeing ender lose his job tonight has to be upsetting for him
I’m sure they’re desperately looking for a trade. You never know, an injury to JD could always give him a spot again. Depth isn’t the worst thing ever.
Luke Jackson became the first #Braves pitcher to record back-to-back 2-inning saves since Hall of Famer John Smoltz in 2002. And by the way, happy birthday, Smoltzy. Look at the brains on this guy
Things on my to-do list today: 1. Buy a Riley shirt jersey 2. Watch Braves 3. Figure out how to make 12 Mike Soroka clones
It was fun going back and looking at that trade and the draft. It really highlights why the Braves aren't interested in signing Kimbrel back yet when they're as good at scouting/drafting as they are: - The Braves got San Diego's 41st pick in the competitive balance round from the Kimbrel trade and took Riley - The Ervin Santana story is a sordid affair. In 2014, the Braves signed him and gave up a first round pick because KC had given him a qualifying offer. He stayed exactly one year, we gave him a qualifying offer and subsequently received pick #28 after Minnesota signed him. Minnesota gave up their early 2nd round pick to sign him and he immediately gets popped for PEDs and is gone for 80 games. Meanwhile, the Braves used #28 on one Mike Soroka. - 2015 was the year Dansby went #1, just to show how good that year was to us.
16 in 38 games this year, AA should be calling every single team to see if we can get anything at all for Ender
You would think you would be avoiding these types of posts after the current L you’re taking on the Acuna at leadoff experiment but I guess it’s hard for you to get off of my nuts? My contention was never that Ender was killing it. It’s that WED was an annoyance talking about Ender all day every day. I want the braves to be good. That’s it. Since I put WED on ignore life has been good and I haven’t had to tell him to stfu and get a life.
ronnie is hitting .328/.409/.634 with 19 homers at the lead off spot in his career wow what an L there folks
sorry when you include his TWENTY entire at bats as the lead-off man this past week it brings his line all the way down to..... .323/.404/.617 with 20 homers in his career dmx do you have a brain injury serious question
