I use them for work pretty regularly. Really durable but you notice the price difference in the fit and fabric quality.
I think it's even funnier that, of all the guys on the planet with looks to swaggerjack, that guy chose to swaggerjack my guy Guy's look.
So these are pretty great. I didn't like the look at first but after a night at some local bars (no belt, shirt untucked) and walking the dogs I am pleased with them. No traditional back pockets was weird until I sat down and didn't sit on my wallet, then it all made sense. Also going free-balling felt normal and it did not display the buldge like I was selling hotdogs, which was nice. They have a promotion where if you send anything back they will refund your money. I sent a packet of duck sauce, if they refund my money I'll be buying more shorts.
also went in on the Birddog game, hoping for the free refund. went with these bad boys, as I think they will work at the golf range/pool this summer. Also went with 9.25" as my fat ass and thunder thighs generally create a shortening effect on my shorts, so 8" would have been BOLD
the first item I ever tried to return to REI was a couple of months after they changed their lifetime return policy supposedly because people were abusing it bringing in 10+ year old underwear and shit on some level I envy people who have the energy/care level to scheme around various corporations policies' for a few dollars
I just bought a full simplisafe home security system. I don't like the one I have now (Nest) and going to move on from all nest products I think.
Just bought it. We will see. It was like 500 total to cover every window and door in the house plus key fobs etc. Which is almost what it cost just for the nest hub. If I don't like it i'll dump it. Edit: Does anyone have experience with Vivint? Is it ridiculously expensive? My goal is to have an all in one home for my automation. Paging lechnerd
It was yesterday FWIW, saw it on my instagram. This is my move if they give me a refund like promised.
it's not a code or anything, it was just blasting ads and offers all over my instagram. so when I get my shorts, I'm just going to stuff it and return it and assume it will work
That ad has disappeared for me and now it’s been replaced with one of their guys destroying the shorts and returning them for a full refund. The shorts are great for anyone that hasn’t gotten them yet.
People who returned gear they’d worn out for 10 years were crappy. People who would go to yard sales and thrift stores and buy other people’s worn out stuff and return it were borderline thieves.
wasn't that the point of the ridiculous promo? * *caveat, I never saw any Birddog ads, the promo, or the fine print.
PS: they are still running the add, I took a screen shot of them showing some guy returning his wig for a refund...
I’m a good sport so I’ll order the second pair for the free T-shirt and get one pair refunded. $55 for two shorts and a tee? Sold.
It worked. Birddogs is now the proud owner of a deck of cards from Red Rock Resort and Casino and I’m the proud owner of $59.95.
How to the bird dog shorts run? I wear a 36 pant and don’t know if I should go XL or XXL. Looking at the 9.5 in inseam. I will buy a pair, send something back, and buy another pair.
That marvel thread people get cunty when someone asks for a stream. Maybe I’m missing a joke somewhere though.
Sizing is accurate to slightly small. I’m medium or large depending on the brand, definitely large with them. (They can’t handle my squat-made ass.)
I’m a 40 or 42 depending on brand and the shorts fit just a bit short of snug. More form fitting than basketball shorts, but not quite to the fit of tailored pants.
And as far as I seem goes, 9.5” is pretty long. Measure the unseen in your current favorite shorts and go from there. I’m going 8”.
I've been reading up on this as well. I think I'm just going to go with smartthings. Why not do this or home assistant if you want to avoid the cloud?
