i don’t even care what people say, they are the most comfortable shoe I ever owned. Also I do enjoy sitting outside and watching a fire in my solo stove while wearing them.

 

Anyone have the tree or wool runners? I need a new pair of "athletic shoes"

 

I think the tree runners are a little less bulky and a little more comfortable for summer.

Been cruising Europe the past few days in wool runners. They’re fantastic

 

Made the full transition from boat shoes to allbirds. Have a pair of wool runners but just got 2 pair of tree runners and couldn’t be happier. Perfect for the summer.

 

I need to grab a router or a modem/router combo. It needs to be a docsis 3.1, and as best I can tell they pretty much all go for 300+.

I can probably get a suitable router for about 150-175, and then rent the modem for $10/month from my provider. At that rate it’s almost $300 total for the first year. Unless I’m missing a more affordable combo gateway, I guess I’ll just need to bite the bullet and pony up now. Damn.

 

I know this has been asked before, but I’m in need of some dress socks. What’s everyone’s favorite brand?

I really like Happy Socks and you can find them in mass at places like TJ Maxx. At least here. I love my Bombas but they are sport, not dress.

 

All I know about it is that Cox requires 3.1 for their Gigablast.

Finally took the plunge and bought an inflatable SUP board. Going to tear up some alpine lakes this summer.

I know absolutely nothing about SUP. Tell me the advantages of an inflatable? Storage? Cost?

 

I'm getting it so I can hike with it and take it into the mountains/to alpine lakes. Broken down, it's about 25 lbs in a backpack. If you live on the water, or can transport it to water easily, I don't think inflatable is necessary.

Wife had us stop by and pick up my birthday present early since we are traveling this weekend. I was wondering why the hell would she be taking me into a Fossil for my birthday present and am glad that I bit my tongue. Not sure I would have thought to look there. Also, I am sure there are better options for more $$$ but will work well for me for as little as I travel.





She thinks of great gift ideas and I am crap at gifts.

So these shorts I am not supposed to wear any underoos in? I got a pair coming today. I get home from work and immediately throw on athletic shorts and a T shirt, just going to add these to rotation.

Update on the bird dogs, sending them back.

I think I ordered too big of size, so they fit a little funny. But they seem a little too casual to be an every day short but look a little too nice to be an athletic short. I am not sure what I would wear them with. May look at another size and try again.

 

What color did you go with? I went with Khaki on the first pair and the all blue color on the second. To me they are a perfect go out on the boat short or vacation short any situation where a spontaneous pool/lake adventure may happen.

 

Booked a last minute 5 nighter to London and Paris for my wife who has never been. Leaving Thursday.

Going to be toursty as fuck.
