He's typically been first off the bench but it's whatever. Ozil rarely cares, Mkhi is an idiot and wasteful, and Iwobi just sucks; we have nothing in attacking midfield/wingers. Our chances of winning rely on how PEA and Laca perform and not giving up too many shit goals. Fuck UEFA but can't remember the last time Mkhi has made a difference in a game.
This is incredibly harsh, against Brighton he cheaply gave the ball away during a promising attack which was immediately proceeded by Xhaka giving away a penalty.
I think there's a very strong chance Mkhi would have been one of the 14 players who played at some point if he was in the squad. his effectiveness is another story.
Seems like DM is his favored position and the 1 we have too many bodies for Unless we sell Xhaka which I can’t really see happening
he’s been his best in the midfield but I’m not sure he’s good enough there for what we need playing regularly. if we want him to be something like an Elneny replacement he might be more valuable as someone to sell.
Too good to just let go but not quite good enough to be a regular fixture in the squad. And I can’t envision him satisfied with being a glorified squad rotation player
Xhaka isn’t a DM. I think that’s been proven. Id like to see Chambers in the middle of a “back 3” where he plays kind of the Busquets role where he can flatten out and defend as a CB when under pressure or can go forward more and act as a pivot and distributor when attacking.
With our limited budget this summer and the number of players leaving or possibly leaving, we need to keep Chambers at least for next season. Can play DM, can probably play RCB in a back three. This roster needs more depth, as there will be another injury outbreak like there is every season. I believe having Chambers this past season might have gotten us an extra 2 points that we needed.
Yeah I mean Mustafi and/or El Neny for sure. If we go a true 4 in the back then there’s more room for him in the midfield as well. Obviously the defensive shambles led to 5 in the back but it wasn’t always the solution, so I don’t think Emery is married to that either. There are a ton of questions but we clearly could have used him this season. I’m not saying he is a B2B or a Ramsey but he can run, has skill on the ball and seems to be a smart player. Everyone of our current MF has some pretty significant flaws as well. There’s absolutely no way he couldn’t compliment any combo.
Watched Keane and Vieira best of enemies for the first time, it's great if you haven't watched it. On youtube.
Greatest mystery of my life. Went through trash can/recycling and did find a Bulleit bottle which is one of the 3 missing but not entirely convinced that it's the same. Have seen no trace of the 750s.
Coming back from a serious injury in your last game at the club to score the winner in a European Cup final in front of hundreds of fans......
Sucks but not gonna lose sleep over that. Despite my nature, I'm incredibly good at not losing things and this is gonna bother me for some time. If I broke them, would have already moved on.
https://www.theguardian.com/footbal...opa-league-final-knee-injury-arsenal-training No clue if Kante’s played well for Chelsea this season or not
He's playing out of position but still really good. RLC provided more of a threat but he's out too. Don't believe they have much faith in Kovacic-Barkley-Jorginho but we're so hit or miss that can't say I'm confident. Laca-PEA do their thing and the defense at least somewhat holds up and we win, they don't and we probably lose
I know people like to stick their noses up at Europa, but this is probably the biggest match of my Arsenal fandom considering what is on the line.
