Is it good/entertaining? Read a bunch on her last year or maybe longer. Case is essentially solved (no charges obviously) so kind of kills my momentum to listen to it unfortunately.
But you don’t know any of the facts, so keep listening. It is still a mystery. I think we discussed her in the missing person’s thread.
I think it’s entertaining, but I knew absolutely nothing about the case. So the times that I audibly gasped at probably wouldn’t have the same affect on you.
If you guys aren't already, you should definitely subscribe to New Player Has Joined. It's a podcast for gamers and they have a guest on every week to talk about their favorite video games. Easily my favorite podcast right now, and the two hosts are pretty damn funny guys (both comedians/writers).
i'm pretty sure user Eathan Edwards lives near where she lived https://www.romper.com/p/who-was-ad...in-la-investigates-her-disappearance-16976358
Yea I knew her. I haven't read anything about the case but I'd be stunned if her bf wasn't guilty - treated her like shit- he sucked.
Yea, she used to come in all the time - really nice girl with an accent. Don't think she had even been out here that long, moved here from Europe if I remember correctly.
I’m glad tmb has solved this case. Now we can put all of our resources back in to the Lauren spierer disappearance
I've met this dude - if he isn't guilty of murder I can guarantee you he's guilty of something equivalent or weirder. #lockherup
She lived a block away from my first apartment in LA - one of her friends works for me at a venue now. Fucking sucks. It's pretty sad that I personally know the girl and hadn't even heard about this until I got tagged in the thread - I guess that just indicates how frequent this type of shit is happening now.
fwiw she had 2 dudes. 1 looked like a pos (bigger guy) and the other acted like a pos, but looked normal.
Do you think it was one ten hour recording session or a bunch of sessions edited together? Of course, my first thought was an edited run but Scott actually references prior guest's comments during the podcast. That would be hard to do if segments were recorded on different days.
He also references stuff from episodes 2 years ago and it was just a one off character. He could just be really good at his podcast job. I always chuckle when he corrects the character on what they are supposed to be saying or doing. Carl tart my favorite guest I think.
Few episodes in. Kinda seems a tad irresponsible to put so much suspicion on the Dad, but I guess that is investigative journalism.
Spoiler I love Chris morez’s ex wife. First she says she doesn’t know how as a father he never came forward and told the police what happened.. even tho she had the same info. And then “he put a gun to my head and pulled the trigger. But I’m not sure I could see him helping kill someone”
Yeah this episode jumped around so much. This whole podcast has been a mess. It’s like watching a train wreck but I can’t stop.
Chris Spots theory Spoiler Big chris was a PoS, but accidental participant. Be recruited chance to help him tie up the loose ends (Chris and Sam) Also, did we ever hear who was threatening the main journalist?
Started To Live and Die in LA today, and it's excellent. Will probably finish the entire first season before tomorrow is over. Spoiler: Podcast related kind of spoiler Adea was the definition of a craaaazy girl. Starts dating guy while he is engaged, proceeds to live out a relationship that literally everyone can see coming from a mile away. Edit: Didn't even see what y'all were talking about before posting, but kind of awesome folks are talking about this podcast.
I one-shotted it yesterday on a long drive. Spoiler: Spoiler From LA to Sacramento Spoiler: Spoiler Not really, it was from Fort Morgan to Corona Spoiler: Spoiler JK
Neil Strauss? The man hosting this podcast is kind of famous. He wrote the notorious book, The Game, along with the The Dirt, which is now a big time popular Netflix Film. He also wrote How to Make Love Like a Pornstar (The Jenna Jameson book). His other shit is good as well, I've also read The Truth which had no business being good, but I flew through it. Dude is an amazing story teller.
Any thoughts on this Luminary Web app that's coming out soon. I noticed that Arian Foster's podcast is moving over to this platform. I was curious if anyone else has used it?
Finally got around to Root of Evil, 4 sodes left. Good god this story is so fucked up it’s tough to listen to at times.
Black Dahlia murder, and the family of a well-known doctor at the time who was a suspect. Incest, molestation, murder, Hollywood, famous musicians. It’s got all it all. Drags a bit here and there but it’s a crazy story
Listened to the entirety of To Live And Die In LA today. So good. I love listening to that kind of shit so much. Spoiler I believe Spotz killed her on his own in the driveway he pulled off in, but that his dad knew the plan all along and was prepared to help conceal the body. The huge increase in phone calls between the two of them the couple weeks before everything happened was a big red flag. Also, he was just a huge POS in general, so I'm not really willing to give him the benefit of the doubt. I felt awful for Mary. Listening to the first phone call with her where she was crying the entire time was rough. Chance is a huge idiot.
Just a little bummed to learn that Drew Tarver has writers supplying him. I knew the songs were prepared but I figured they were his work.
I missed this recommendation. Is this the episode from "The Complete Guide to Everything" podcast dated 2-5-17?
Has Blackout been mentioned itt? It features Rami Malek and has other voice actors and sound effects. Reminds me of We’re Alive. It’s really good so far through 5 episodes.
