I got to the Ronny episode, that was incredible. "She's not of this world"

Clearly Ronny and his daughter were some form of higher vampire. She was like a tiny demon, and Ronny kicked with the power of a thousand suns.

Loved how absurd it was.

 

Loved how they "explained" why the cops wife left him for Ronny

 

"So, you get it" or something to that effect

 

Also, Sally is the worst part of the show

 

I think that’s kinda the point. She’s not a good person but it’s not like Barry is either. He craves validation so much that he’s blind to her histrionics and narcissism.

 

You're not wrong but I still hate her

 

I don’t think I’ve given enough thought as to how Hank is going to survive this failed coup. I’m hoping Barry saves him and it only makes their friendship grow stronger.

 

I don’t think I could take Hank getting killed.

 

I love how in the after the show bit that hader points out that in almost every scene with hank he is looking down or away because he is cracking him up

 

Hopefully they learned from Justified that you never kill off the guy you originally planned to kill off

 

It was so obvious in the scene they showed with it too that Hader was losing it

 

Thank Christ, Barry because you killed someone and got away with it

 

Thank god I finally watched a stress free episode of Barry

 

Would love to see the outtakes from a Barry/Hank scene with Hader losing it a la Californians or Stefan

 

Jesus. That started out funny and changed directions real quick.

Just started this show last week and holy fuck, NoHo Hank is one of my favorite TV characters of the last few years.

Barry: “Nah it’s a movie.”

 

The actress who plays Sally does a magnificent job of being insufferable

 

Sarah Goldberg. And absolutely agree.

 

She’s great. The most self-absorbed human being.

I love Bill Hader so much. What an amazing finale

Incredible season. He should win all the awards

Just wanted to say that I started watching Barry on Saturday and ran through season one in a few days. I'm making my way through season two.

With that being said, "ronny/lily" is some of the best/funniest television I've experienced in a while.

 

It should win an Emmy.

 

I’m saying it again— the tension in this show consistently gets cranked up to 11

 

Noho Hank would be a fantastic parody account on here

 

Binging the season. This season has a lot more drama than comedy. Just finished ronny/lilly, such an incredible episode. The fact that Hader wrote/directed that one by himself is so impressive. His acting had been great this season. As always Hank is a delight.

 

Finished. Dear god amazing. This show makes you go from giggle to heart pounding to giggle again so many times. Perfect.

I’m not sure how long Barry can go seasons wise, but if HBO doesn’t order a NoHo Hank prequel spinoff when it has run its course they don’t understand the gold mine they have on their hands.

So I finished the season. Well they are certainly gonna have no shortage of storylines for Barry next season

 

Were you guys sad at all when Barry said “I guess people can change.”

I love Hank but think a show with him as the main character might struggle. He’s perfect as a secondary character.
