Another Amazon heater imo. Great lead, and everytime she addresses the camera is hilarious imo. Enjoyed cunty step-mom played by Olivia Colman (night manager's Angela). Give it a go
2nd season bump! Even better than the first! https://www.rollingstone.com/tv/tv-reviews/fleabag-season-2-review-833975/
Outstanding show. Watched it over two nights. Could have easily done it in one. As bingeworthy as it gets. Didn't read much about the show before going in. Given how good it was, I assumed that a third season was a foregone conclusion. After the second season finale, though, I thought it would make for a perfect -- albeit bittersweet -- show finale. Then I read that there will not be a third season. Probably. My guess is PWB resurrects the show after she completes other projects, grows as a writer/creator/producer/actor, and develops a story for Fleabag that won't dilute. Would be really cool if the story resumes 5 or even 10 years down the road with Fleabag still unmarried. The second season also wasn't supposed to happen, but Fleabag is way too good of a character not to flesh out a little more. An all-time great character.
This is one of the best things I've ever seen. I think that PWB might legit be a genius. The supporting characters were note-perfect, and the 4th wall fuckery was amazing.
Had this show recommended to me awhile ago but forgot about it until I saw it won the Emmy. Truly incredible show, loved every episode.
I recall a growing sense of dread as S1 wore on, because you knew some dark truth was coming. Hang in, because S2 is even better.
Finished it yesterday. Really didn’t expect to like it as much as I did. I’m fine with it ending after 2 seasons, but it’s one of the few shows where I wished it was an hour long. Interested to see what Phoebe Waller-Bridge does moving forward
Wow just saw the S2 finale. They even found a way to make the sister’s husband a tad sympathetic last episode (I’m a douche bag but you love me!). Only one they never leant some sympathy to was the new wife.
I powered through S1 and it didn't really grab me at all. Gonna roll into S2, regardless, based on the hype.
did anyone try watching the live audience (one woman) show they released from BBC? I tried it the other night but tbh drifted off not too far in, wasn't as good as the series imo
