17.7k Oct, 18.6k Nov, and 25.2k December. Also the Insideevs numbers show improved demand for S/X X sales have recovered to 2018 April May levels while S has improved noticeably from Jan/Feb Q1 it still lags behind April May 2018. These were mostly all non Raven models as well.
i think q4 is always good for car companies. lexus december to remember etc etc but yeah this is supposed to be some hyper growth story what i'll really be interested in are q3 and q4 numbers YoY. i could see q4 numbers being flat or even declining. if that happens the stock is going to get absolutely obliterated.
lol, Q3 & Q4 of 2018 had 0 international shipments, Q1 was the first time they shipped internationally. So you cant compare Insideevs April and May 2019 estimates to 2018 ones since they are US sales only.
See above, for someone who posts a shit ton about this company in the thread you don't follow basic stuff.
i mean you definitely can? if they could sell all these cars domestically then why would they pay to ship them overseas?
If Tesla ever files BK, you can bank on ksim14 to come here and let us know how it's a good thing for their future. "Just reorganizing. If you knew anything about this company you would know this is all part of their strategy."
You cant because if you make lets say 30k cars a month, you now send 15k overseas the maximum you can send to the US is 15k. I'd imagine Q4 delivery numbers in the US stand for a while espically first and second month numbers. Q3 and Q4 were anomalies because it was all pent up demand for Performance, AWD, LR; not indicative of true steady state demand.
There is not enough US demand for 30,000 $40k cars a month for any one car company. The European sedan market is double that of the US and the EV market in China is 2 times the size of the US one.
But to answer this question seriously, Model 3 numbers they have a good chance at being higher than q4(60k), and overall deliveries will be close but I doubt they surpass 90.7k delivered in Q4.
lol come on dude, all reservations were worldwide anyways. The last countries that couldn't order just opened up this month which were RHD countries like the UK and Australia.
Typically the time frame where the new year models hit the lot. So probably people jumping on new cars, as well
In the last five months of 2018, according to InsideEVs figures, Tesla sold 101,700 Model 3s in the U.S.; in the first five months of 2019, it sold 46,425. https://www.latimes.com/business/autos/la-fi-hy-tesla-sales-may-model3-story.html well that seems not good when you put it like that
europe is just such a huge market dblplay1212 you just dont understand In Germany, independent market analyst Matthias Schmitt uses electric vehicle subsidy applications to estimate orders. German Model 3 orders have fallen every month since the first of the year: in January, 911 cars; February, 835; March, 811; April, 735 and May, 664.
lol Musk said that he was “optimistic about being profitable in Q1 and for all quarters going forward.” The company lost $704 million in the first quarter
Iam from the Bay though and have high school friends that do work for them at Fremont, so I’d like to see them succeed for that reason plus a litany of others.
It's amazing dbl wants to call anyone a "Stan" when he does nothing but piggy back on any semblance of negative new GK post then attempts to disprove any bit of news that could be seen as positive.
"The goal is to be a better truck than an F-150in terms of truck-like functionality and be a better sports car than a standard 911."
he posted about tesla financial stuff for 6 months before he learned how much a model s costs. keep that in mind
If they make a more functional truck than an F150 that outperforms a 911 and it sell for under $50k, I'll buy you one.
Isn't a standard 911 kinda scoffed at by car buffs or is that a Porsche boxter. edit: Google tells me a 911 has 448hp, so much be the Boxter that is weak w/ only like 260
I think that's the Boxster. I know the 2000's models were frowned upon but I think they re-did them a few years ago and now it's the 718 Boxster or something. May be better now.
