How much it can carry and how much it can tow. Honestly I don't doubt they can make a truck that does more of both. Making one that outruns a 911 will be tough, but maybe they pull hat off too. They aren't making a vehicle that does all of that and sell it for less than $50k.
I don’t think he stated it would outperform the 911 and F150 with the under 50k version. Just that there would be an under 50k version.
Haha I just see how dbl backs out of this already, they’ll have a truck that beats both on some metrics and then he’ll argue its not the 50k version even though that’s not what Musk said.
I may not want them to if it’s overly Sci Fi like Musk has been talking. There’s like a 25% chance it’s really cool and a 75% chance it’s horrid.
it looks really ugly in the pictures. half of my friends are in trucks and 0 of them would ever drive that thing
Appears to be growth projections. I guess Morgan Stanley and JPMorgan are Stans https://www.cnbc.com/amp/2019/06/05...etitors-as-may-demand-surprises-analysts.html
I don't follow the market too closely. Do other large innovative companies have cult-like groups desperately obsessed with their failure no matter what? Or is that unique to Tesla?
somewhat unique to tesla. also unique to tesla is the incredible amount of lying done by its ceo and leadership and the innumerable amount of issues that have been uncovered (and recently reported on) by said "cult-like group" of the desperately obsessed. e.g. https://www.elonmusk.today/ https://www.businessinsider.com/tesla-executive-departures-list-2018-9
You originally said 1 car but changed it to 1k. It was a $100, which is fine. Whoever loses can donate to the board. I personally don’t think they’ll make it.
And this is cars coming from that factory that are entirely Tesla vehicles and not some other brand of Chinese-made EV's from other factories with a Tesla logo slapped on them?
I just said more than 1 because they can just roll out a random car and claimed it was made Seems like 1,000 is still low when they’re producing 5-7k a week at Fremont
For shits I went to the OSHA page where you can search establishments and did Tesla from Jan 1, 2017 to todays date and got 14 complaints. https://www.osha.gov/pls/imis/establishment.html I then did Ford and saw they had 14 complaints, General Motors looks like they have 13. doesn't seem that abnormal to me.
To go from dirt to fully built factory in 1 year that produces 1,000 cars is insane and should not happen. Its not even just the building portion but the tooling and manufacturing lines, supply chain, etc that have to be set up to produce cars.
Ok they have a higher complaint count per employee at .0004% compared to .0001%. You are going to tell me this is why theres an obsessed twitter following? 14 OSHA complaints and 15 employee lawsuits?
I mean 400% higher is a pretty big deal. And nobody is saying that's why people are obsessed with the company.
Lol 400%, come on dude, sample size. We are taking about 14 cases. They are operating in the strictest state in the union, California, which makes their own OSHA, CALOSHA, to go higher than Fed standards. Does this qualify for a twitter cult to you?
If it was the other way around and they had 0 or 1, you and other Tesla fans would be pimping their great safety record. And we're not talking small sample size. We're talking 2.5 years of data. 400% higher over a 2.5 time period is notable.
Lol I honestly wouldn’t care, I’m sure the company would tout it though as would every other company in the world. Sure 400% is another 12 cases operating in the strictest state in the Union. They should do better with safety I agree. They are a big company, every big company has parts if you look deep enough that don’t look good. That’s capitalism. Why was that posted in the response then DBL? To prove what TSLAQ is uncovering? We’ve had a Twitter hive for years hiring planes and spying on the company, workers, etc. and what have we come to in conclusion? They have 15 lawsuits against them, 14 osha complaints, a weird security force? The reason people dislike this company is because it has an eccentric CEO that talks about having a million cars that could be robotaxis in 2 years and certain people get insanely worked up about that. That and it’s associated with climate change and there’s a large group of people that don’t believe in that either.
I'M NOT A CHAD YOU'RE A CHAD This is getting pathetic, guy. I get what you're saying but what do the numbers look like across factory workers? Idk, where the fvck one would even go to find OSHA complaints to begin with.
Does that guy have a hard on for Tesla? Idk, maybe. It's not bc Osha complaints though. He may have posted that bc of his hard know but its not the root of the hard on. Idk where you got that from.
Article is a little confusing but seems to be around 50k each for actual factory employees. Not sure what Tesla has. https://www.autonews.com/article/20150215/OEM/302169970/ford-tops-gm-in-u-s-factory-jobs
Yeah exactly. Only weirdo $TSLA twitter is researching this initially and putting it out there and you're jumping in with both feet.
