We make industrial equipment and have been trying for years to convert our products to metric so we can start selling overseas. Some are easier than others but it has been a complete pain in the ass. We ended up buying a (sort of) competitor that has a manufacturing base in Europe and Asia to make it easier.
Eh not concerned with it. Too much Potassium permanganate In the water treatment process a failure of the feed rate of it or a filter blew out letting it out of the final process . Completely safe.
The thing about a company visibly messing up one part of their job is that it fills me with confidence that they have not screwed up any other part of their job.
Pretty sure the university had already discussed giving his donation back because he was trying to dictate school policy. So like 2 or 3 weeks after the law was signed he started this up. Also the school had nothing to do with the law getting passed so why would he advocate boycott of the school because of it?
Eh that's a stretch. They aren't going to change a law because some people try and boycott UA. And again they were already in discussions to give the money back because he was trying to dictate policy and admissions. He started this weeks after the abortion ban to save face.
If a feeder valve fails open then it can over feed. Equipment failures happen as most places don’t have a preventative maintenance program on some components since it’s cheaper to replace and run to failure.
If you read WaPo Opinions on the regular, you can see a headline like this and guess that it will either be Hewitt or Marc Thiessen. Over on CNN a headline expressing wonderment at Trump is almost always Chris Cillizza.
Actually i wrote that WaPo piece because our leader's depth of character and intelligence in navigating the world clearly trying destroy western civilization by making us tear families apart and send us cheap goods we want to buy instead of american goods is so self-evident that i needed to write about its self evidence
Apparently Hugh Hewitt is just a Trump lackey. I'll never under stand why these media outlets give these lying sacks of a shit a platform to straight up lies and disinformation
2.5 years into trumps presidency and I still have no idea how people support him. Literally any other republican could have the same “accomplishments” as he has had (tax cuts, reduced regulations, judges) without the grifting, craziness, destruction of international allegences. You can’t consider him a “useful puppet” because he does crazy shit on important fronts like trade relations and dealing with North Korea.
You're not obligated to do either, especially since they all suck ass right now. You pulling your funds is a message to be better.
ya, I value a paper for their reporting, not the editorial section Which if you look at the editorial section, about 4 or 5 of the 6 daily opinions are generally on point.
I miss the days of old when crazy people sat in their Moms basement and couldn’t communicate with each other...
Do whatever makes you happy, but the WaPo & NYT crushed it on reporting the key Mueller Report facts. I have zero problems paying for high quality journalism in a world littered with shitty Twitter takes. I think refusing to support great journalism because I don’t agree with 100% of their opinion articles would say far more about me than the newspaper. I’m not going to call you a snowflake, but I am going to ask if your actions are similar to what a snowflake would do.
Walked into a Target today. They played the national anthem while I was looking at kitchenware. I dropped my basket and immediately took my hat off. Had to pay for the broken candles, but totally worth it.
