I obviously started talking about how much I loved the solo stuff, in particular Trailer Park and Halfecolt. But we also talked Middle Brother for a bit which was cool as hell.
The I got unlucky when a bartender override me with Brad Paisley, but we compromised on a 90s country playlist
I saw Patterson Hood at LAX last Sunday but unfortunately he disappeared before I had the opportunity to speak with him.
I saw Jason Isbell walking into the gym a few weeks back and he mistook me for Jason Mamoa. I did not correct him.
Seeing Isbell and Father John Misty in a few hours in Santa Barbara. Looks like Isbell is coming on after the opener.
Cool. I’m planning on getting there a little before the opener cause the SB Bowl is a single point of entry and I want to make sure I have beer for the Isbell set.
I tried keeping track but missed a couple which are the ? cause I forgot to put it in or was grabbing a beer
Seen Moreland twice, he’s fucking awesome. Some dude yelled out a song request and he told him to shut the fuck up.
I knew it was a dbt song but couldn’t remember the name. I’ll let you know when somebody more knowledgeable than me posts a set list.

Had never heard this version of Late for Church before. Patterson on vocals, Cooley on banjo. Also continually blown away at how truly bad they were at naming bands pre-DBT.
Counterpoint: Drive-By Truckers isn’t a good band name either but it’s made palatable by the abbreviation DBT.
This is fair, but there's levels of badness between Drive-By Truckers and Horsepussy, Magic Blood Poets and Gorilla Love-In.
It’d be cool if he recorded Maybe its Time and put it on his next album like Bingham did with Weary Kind. I like the Bradley Cooper version but it’s a great song and I’d much rather hear Isbell singing it.
There's a bus company that picks up throughout Denver and drops off at Red Rocks. We used it last year and highly recommned it if you plan on getting your drink/smoke on.
Did you get anything. Also im sure you know, but I haven't seen you post. THEBLUERAIDER tickets on sale tomorrow for a 7 night run
