Imagine comparing 2 women who are on tv or in the spotlight because of their looks. Lul. Finn >>>> most though
I forgot about Raw again this week. Read your post and took me a minute to realize I missed RAW tonight. Mondays are more enjoyable since I've stopped watching raw and just read recaps and watch YouTube video highlights
i rolled up all my loose change tonight. Things like that have become more entertaining than raw weekly
Fyter Fest card coming together nicely for a free event: Cody Rhodes vs Darby Allin Jon Moxley vs Joey Janela Adam Page vs MJF vs Jungle Boy vs Jimmy Havoc The Young Bucks and Kenny Omega vs Rey Fenix, Pentagon Jr and ??? Jebailey vs Michael Nakazawa (Joke, but should be entertaining) I have to imagine another match or two. I know CD mentioned last week's BTE Cima wanted a singles match with him but we don't know if that's for FF or All Out. No lady matches on this card. I'm sure one probably gets added? edit: Nvm, just saw the trailer at E3 before Kenny's interview and CD/Cima is advertised. Just not on the All Elite site yet.
Gotta add some women in there yeah? Also this is supposed to be free on B/R Live streaming. We will see.
I'd imagine at least a female match or two yeah, but who knows. They have a pre show for some reason where Nakazawa and Jebailey will be. Don't know why you need a pre show if the event is free to watch.
Got done with Raw...Bray the best again. Sami has the special ref was gold " I checked him, he doesn't have a knife"
"But his character loses and doesn't care and that's what shows that he's crazy!" -WWE after this first match which he loses (to Corbin probably)
Which is a sad state of affairs regardless of how much I like both of their segments weekly. Does anyone trust Bray to being meaningful once he actually starts wrestling and having feuds?
Joey willing to die because he got his cigarette taken seems extreme. Like we missed a few steps in the rivalry lol Love Darby, his vibe, character it just hooks me.
So, we're all in agreement Joey's getting something stapled to him again? I'm gonna go with....a cheese sandwich.
Wish he was more believable, lot of opinions I've seen on him is that's he very creative, good talker which I agree the promo was solid, and solid worker. He just looks so sloppy in the ring. Looking forward to the match to see what he's about.
Shane is most likely being used on both programs because the networks demand a McMahon on TV. Steph turns viewers away and Vince it old as fuck and given his recent on camera appearances seems to be a shell of his former self. So we get Shane. Again the bigger issue is being on two different shows feuding with two different wrestlers and teaming up with 8 different guys split between the brands. For someone who follows this shit inside and out its confusing for me. How do they expect a casual viewer to keep track? They can't and just don't. None of this matters because again because Vince is calling the shots and has zero pressure to change anything. I know people keep thinking the stock holders will turn the heat up but I doubt it. TV money is going to kick in Q3 and for Q2 they will have the Saudi money so the profit/loss is going to look fantastic. People will ignore the horrible TV numbers because of it.
How long before they feel the pressure from all these sponsors and networks? They're putting on a trash product that's only scraping by cause it the WWE. Shane has no business dominating an hour of our lives every week, his gimmick is dumb and he's boring as shit. Bring back Shane that only appeared a couple times a year doing crazy spots. His current shit is turning so many people off.
I'm not sure, like I pointed out the stock holders likely wont be putting pressure on because the P/L is going to look great to close the year. They started to get some questions in Q1 because the numbers where down and they avoided the "creative" questions by blaming the loss of "super stars" thanks to injuries. They wont get those same questions likely in Q2 because of the Saudi money or Q3/Q4 because of the TV money. Will TV execs be pissed? Probably but can they force Vince to step down? No chance in hell. I kinda disagree with you on Shane, he would be great if his stuff was on one show. Pick one doesn't matter. But when you run the same Story line with the same guy as the center of it for 30-40 minutes on RAW and come back and do nearly the identical shit the next night for 20-30 minutes on Smackdown its overkill. Its why killing the brand split (and thats exactly what the wild card has done) may have been the worst call Vince could've made.
trust bray? Sure, I’d trust bray to make interesting and entertaining fueds with whatever it is he is doing once he gets back in the ring. However, it’s not going to be his call, it’s going to be Vince’s and I think we all trust that Vince is going to fuck it up at the point he gets his hands on it
I think fans just rather see the talent in wrestling matches and minimal promos vs. Shane doing his goofy shit for an hour over 2 shows. They have so much fuckin' talent, and because of this wild card rule we never see any of them. It's just the same handful of bullshit every episode. I've been watching some cause I'm so rasslin' craved at this point, but it's dog shit every episode and a couple comedy promos aren't going to do it. I'll just catch those on reddit the next morning.
For sure, I agree with you. I think Bray is one of the most talented/creative guys on the roster, but Vince and co have zero idea how to use him properly.
See I don't need multiple 2 and 3 segment matches on TV every week. I do like the idea of promos, skits to develop characters and story to be front and center. I can't get into matches that have two and three commercial breaks. Dunn clearly has no intention to change the timing of the breaks so we can see full matches and thus we can do away with them. That doesn't mean we only get 3 matches in a two hour show. Need to find a better balance. They have moved way to far to the other side. Also stop giving me two guys your trying to package and push in a feud together... How are you going to build Ricochet and Cesaro when they lose to each other every week. Those guys should be beating the Jinder Mahals of the world as they build to a match(s) with each other on PPV. 50/50 booking is trash.
Bray is hot right now... Vince will let him win a few matches on TV. Then use him to get Braun or Roman over.
They don't want to change that formula, they want to keep acts down with the 50/50. Vince is terrified of guys and gals becoming bigger than WWE and moving on. It just makes the product ass as a smart fan, cause literally everything is meaningless in WWE. I can't get behind any storyline cause they're all worthless. Fuck, where is AEW tv. I'm ready to be a true MARK. I know they'll do me proud.
