This is not remotely true. Sheriffs are assholes maybe worse than the LAPD. They seem to bring their county jail mentality on to the streets. FWIW I think they work county jails not prisons.
To be fair to LASD, they have made efforts to try and curb their departments misconduct officially, but they're being stymied by these fucking police unions that don't live in reality. There have been some embarrassing cases for the LASD where officer misconduct has put the credibility of LASD testimonies in hundreds of cases into question. LASD wants to begin turning over the names of deputies who have known credibility issues over to the DA, to avoid (they call it credibility issues, others may call it perjury) any more controversy. The police union of course has sued, and said that violates the privacy rights of the officers. What about the rights of people under trial? The right to not have some piece of shit lie through his teeth, falsify evidence, and doom you to incarceration. Good article on the absurdity of the problem. https://www.latimes.com/local/california/la-me-brady-list-secrecy-court-20180809-htmlstory.html Btw the officer accused in this article makes 240k a year.
He said “good reputation” and better than LAPD wouldn’t be the case either. Maybe for someone who isn’t locale and hasn’t heard much about them but trust me they are/were assholes. They work in the jails before they go on the streets and that makes them worse. They brought that mentality to streets and treated people like shit. Seriously fuck the LASD.
Well, I stand corrected, I saw that in an interview and it falls in line with a personal opinion of mine, police officers should work in different government agency before joining the police force. For example if officers were made to serve as social workers they probably will bring a different mindset to the job.
Yeah that would probably be a good thing. Unfortunately it is not the same as them working at a fucked up jail. They get stuck with seeing people like inmates and not like people.
My uncle was a LASD deputy for over 20 years. There was a dramatic change in his behavior when he was doing his prison duties over in Castaic. Super hair trigger temper, and he snapped at his kids. Became super laid back like he had been when he transferred out. Working those prisons has to have some sort of bleeding effect into regular life. Which is why it's probably worse that LASD has to work in that environment in addition to the streets.
TL/DR: Guy uses Snapchat gender switch feature to pose as a 16-year-old girl. Catches California cop in his sting operation to catch pedophiles. https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/crim...-a-sting-operation/ar-AACLN3G?ocid=spartanntp
Everyone made jokes about that happening w that filter, but I didnt think it would actually happen. The filter is good, but not THAT good
Im just busting your balls. Usually the only time I see msn links is when olds from the homeboard post an article that bitches about millennials or awful political takes.
VICE did a good video on how fucked up LA County jails are. Also sheds light into why our former sheriff Lee Bacca is in federal prison now. LA sheriff deputy gangs still exist.
Suffice to say LASD are also POS. My cousin currently is one he is still at the County jail. Last time I saw him was at a super bowl party a couple years ago. He seemed okay but this was a family party he is my age and we didn’t get into anything related to his job.
Technically he's out on appeal but yea he's heading to prison. Not real sure why he's been allowed to be free during his appeals.
Holy shit. Someone with that little care for life should not be allowed to have a badge and carry a gun.
No one died so hard to say this is one of the worst but fuck these guys so hard. All of them should be fired immediately. http://www.fox10phoenix.com/news/ar...officers-after-video-shows-alleged-misconduct
There are videos from different angle on Facebook, one that was shot from up above shows when the officer arrest the mother he tried to yank the baby right out of her arm. He grabs the child’s arm and starts yanking on it, that guy is out of fucking control. Here’s the video:
it looks like it's mostly one cop who is being a total asshole, right? The cop who kicks the boys legs is the same one who walks up and points and screams in the woman's face, right? That guy needs to find a new line of work, obviously. And, yet again, we see all the "good cops" allowing him to act the way he is. The one cop puts his hand on the bad cops shoulder, seems like he's trying to get him to calm down, but that's all he does. Fuck all of them. They should all be held responsible for that cops behavior. If they are not willing to stop it, they are responsible for it.
It's like 100 degrees in AZ. I'm pretty sure that wouldn't be safe. Line em up shoot em and throw em in a ditch. Not one of these cocksuckers should be allowed to be a member of society if they're pulling on a pregnant mother with a baby over a Barbie doll.
I'm not team summary roadside execution, even if that's what a police officer does sometimes. One of her kids took a doll from the Dollar Store without the parents noticing, store called police. So, you know......"DROP THE FUCKING DOLL OR I'LL BLOW YOUR FUCKING HEAD OFF!!!"
I have to think there might be more to the story here. That it was not *just* a stolen barbie doll. Maybe not though, it would not shock me either way; if this was a massive overreaction by the cops, or if what the people publishing the video are telling the public is not totally accurate. Either way though, the actions and demeanor of that one cop are way out of line.
Someone should start a gofundme to buy that little girl ALL the Barbies. Like everyone ever made. No kid should have to see their parent go through that over some bullshit like that.
Step by step instructions on how to trick people into consenting to an illegal search of their vehicle.
The daughter is 4 years old, I’m not sure if you can even charge a kid that young, so the only other choice is to send an overzealous cop with his gun drawn threatening to shoot everyone.
Good vid. Just had a huge case suppressed Wednesday where consent was issue. Also have a pretty good marijuana smell pc argument shaping up now that Florida has medical.
It’s an infant. Figured the joke was obvious. I actually go against the police and take action, unlike say Dbl (who instead just likes posts online about me needing to be hit by a bus).
Did you hear at the end how they were miffed they didn't get his consent, so they start talking about K9 unit up the street they could get? Has there been any hard evidence to support handlers making their dog signal on a car, whether it has drugs or not? I'm positive it happens, just not sure I've ever seen a K9 handler doing it on camera.
