Premium seating includes Memberships with additional benefits, access to all-inclusive club areas, and parking. The Supporter section Membership will be a general admission, safe standing section in the south end—those in the supporter’s section will be standing during the entirety of the match. General seating includes Memberships to seats in designated locations in the lower level, upper level, and north end.
This shit right here is why I'm doing premium. Just going off the average of a few other clubs membership prices above "supporter"/"General" (dynamo, dallas, and a couple others) look like a non-baller premium season ticket package would be in the $1000 range vs. the general/supporter that's $350-400. With 17 home games, and I'm good with paying $35 extra per game to have free parking, food and booze... and lower level seats. The $10 parking and $8 beers/food add up very quickly at pro sporting events. Even if the premium season package ends up being in the $1400 range I'm perfectly fine with $82/game. In year one the resale value of good tickets will probably be stupid high so you could make some money back. And I think the premiums come with some other cool perks like Austin FC events that I'm sure will be happening starting next year to get people excited
Those on the lamar or burmet corridors will likely have direct access via the 1l/m or 5 lines. I moved away so don't quote me on exact # routes. No matter what, public transit will be nice.
I know the # of cars is small on that rail, but there would be no way they build a stop for McKalla place and then only run people to it - but not back.
Oh, I just happen to be hanging out at a brewery tonight.... ....watching pro wrestling Or something resembling it
One of their big sales of the little train they have was to get drunk drivers off the streets Their last train leaves downtown at like midnight, and that's the extended weekend schedule
Unless I'm missing something, this doesn't have anything to do with or preclude a route that would involve McKalla egress from approx. 10p-midnight for the latest kickoffs.
Gonna be on team 2nd weekend this year since I just got a save the date for a good friends wedding on 10/5. Guessing he picked that weekend bc of bama football schedule. Already paid for weekend 1 early bird so gonna be looking for a trade for weekend 2 just keep your e-friend in mind if you hear of someone wanting to trade their 2 for 1
big fan of all the weekday rain we can get. did the first greenbelt saturday of the summer. my bday was friday and my buddy's was today so we decided to get a couple more peeps and had our first shroom tea experience at the flatrocks area of Campbell's Hole. Wasn't too crowded there but it never feels like it because of how much space there is to sit. So many hot groups of girls and saw 3 pairs of nude sunbathing. 2 of them walked by, tops back on, right around the time the tea kicked in and my buddy tried to holler and it was amazing. Like in cartoons where the person opens their mouth and just a tongue rolls out... an inaudible murmur and then one of these moments: Spoiler I kinda saved it from going south by straight up saying Hey we just drank a lot of shroom tea yall have a good one and shoo'd them away. That come up on tea is took jars full of ~3.5g worth each up there and all started with about 2/3 and said we'd wait 30 min and then finish the rest. narry a bottle was touched after 30 minutes gad damn Fun times. so many dogs... two different < 3 month old puppies came over and rolled around on us for 15-20 minutes and then kept on wandering. Good shit. Tons of eye candy everywhere. May just be my type people but people at big greenbelt spots >>>>>>> people you talk to at hotel pools. Definitely will be going back there under more normal mindstate with the doggos maybe they can break the ice with random ladies next time. Didn't get dark til damn 8:15 I may start going out there after work. It's such a short hike to the water from either side: taco deli / barton skyway AND didn't know but the East side has an entrance by a school off S Lamar where you turn between the two gas stations at Manchaca... which I just learned on google maps is also Barton Skyway... neat.
GF setup a surprise bday party at Gibson bar friday night if any of you happened to be there at 8:30pm thanks for singing HBD you sounded great. walked in and my group of ~17 in the back right section started cheering - rest of the people inside and on back patio start cheering. Whole place sings. Pretty damn funny. 1- Ribs that we had catered from Luke's were fucking good. no idea they had a rib game like that 2- Caraffe of mixed drink is $65. I actually think it's a better deal than getting 6 drinks... they have small glasses and fat ice. I got blacked out 2 hours from stepping foot inside off 2 tequila shots and a pitcher of Sazerac. #onlyturn35once
Text me Sunday. You know we got a crew for the Odesza PIT. And plenty of dance candy to go around Anybody else goin to COTA is welcome to kick it probably gonna tailgate to some extent
Been several years seems I’ve been to a COTA concert that wasn’t an event like XGames. Do they check tickets going up to the lawn? My buddy thinks they only check for red seat and pit sections, and that we could chill in the lawn during the early shows. Anyone know if that’s the case?
ACL weekend 2 , just bought Saw bino at bonnaroo already, was probably the #1 set of the whole festival for me. cant wait for october
Not really a thing anymore since they opened up the Barton pool side of the park for a stage, food vendors, and main merch tent. Last 2 years haven’t felt crowded at all. Except for getting in the gates at peak times and the headliners if you try to get up close.
Yep mostly because you got a headliner that appealed to every demographic there, and Odesza ended with ~30min left in Paul's set. We were able to see Odesza and make it over in time to see the last 5 songs for Paul. Gambino won't be that bad unless you try to get close just bc The Cure will draw the older/non-R&B crowd away. Honestly don't think GnR or Mumford will be that bad because of Impala and Cardi B being on the other big stage at the same time. You can definitely tell a huge difference in the 2pm-6pm shows the past 2 years with the new layout. Most of them, unless they're a big DJ act that's poppin for the 18-25 age range, it's wide open enough to spread out and lounge at the shows. Also love with the new layout you can utilize the springs side's row of trees near the road. at least one act per day we got a good spot under there and did a food+lay down under those trees.
HippoCampus and Head and the Heart put on a damn good show last night at Moody. Seeing my buddy's band All The Elements tonight at Parish. Good rock kinda blend of 70s-90s. Dan Dyer at Pershing on the east side saturday night. Guy can sing like a champ
Saw a real intimate show at a spot called Pershing on E 5th tonight. Show was in a side room turned into a small venue. Next door was a three story home with people dressed to the 9s going in. Girl in our group informed us that she’s been in the house next door... on a tour as part of a membership sales pitch. Spoiler $10,000 per year members swinger club. Her and her ex boyfriend were thinking about joining one of the clubs here. They’ve got a $25,000 membership level as well Their website reads a lot differently with that context. They do have normal public events there but the club events are Dan Patrick parties.
Some kind of celebration for the 1969 championship team Also, the last all-white championship team So, way to racism you nerds
I’m thinking of going to franklins after the LSU game on Sunday. My friend is visiting from back home and we have a DD. I don’t see why not
dont get up at dawn to waste hours standing in that line other joints like terry blacks are perfectly good and faster
