This is what is really crazy to me. It’s crazy that Vince and backstage have to be so hands on. In general, if a wrestler makes it to the main roster, they have been in the business long enough and are probably of the talent level that they don’t need a backstage team to write or plan anything for them. Just tell wrestlers the general timeline and let them do what they do. For example, I would think Vince’s role at this point would be like “Bray, you and Randy are going to fued which will culminate in a match at the PPV in 5 weeks. We want you in the ring 3 of those weeks and we need other content; promos, vignettes, whatever, the other 2 weeks. Go get with Randy and whoever else you want to include and figure out what you want to do and let us know”
I don't think Vince wants to keep talent down. You want people to tune into the characters. He's just out of touch. He's 70+ years old he has no idea what his audience wants any longer. Shit he was out of tune with that they wanted in the 90's and it wasn't till his company was near bankruptcy that he finally gave more creative control to the wrestlers.
NXT going to do a Break Out tournament... Should be really good. Love HHH and his tournaments. Jordan Myles, formerly known as ACH Boa, who signed with WWE in 2016 with other Chinese prospects Isiah “Swerve” Scott, aka Shane Strickland Cameron Grimes, better known as Trevor Lee Bronson Reed, aka Jonah Rock Dexter Lumis, who is former Impact wrestler Samuel Shaw Angel Garza, formerly known as Garza Jr. Joaquin Wilde, who is former Impact star DJZ
Also really cool to see Road Dog speak about his first match he produce at TakeOver and it happened to be the Strong match that was fantastic
From the Observer WWE SUPER SHOWDOWN POLL RESULTS Thumbs up 1 (00.5%) Thumbs down 190 (99.0%) In the middle 1 (00.5%) NEW JAPAN DOMINION POLL RESULTS Thumbs up 366 (89.7%) Thumbs down 9 (02.2%) In the middle 33 (08.1%) NEW JAPAN BEST OF THE SUPER JUNIOR FINALS Thumbs up 304 (100.0%) Thumbs down 0 (00.0%) In the middle 0 (00.0%)
I wonder if the Naito/Ibushi match led to the thumbs down/in the middle votes lol I do feel the BOSJ event was better though.
- Dave Meltzer of F4WOnline.com noted the following regarding Dana Warrior’s creative role with WWE: ”Dana Warrior was there working hands on with Lacey Evans. I don’t know that Evans is a Warrior project but she does work heavily with Evans on her promos.” - Dave Meltzer noted the following regarding Aleister Black’s current push: “It does appear that there are some people behind Aleister Black so we’ll see if they do something with him.” “He beat Randy Orton at the house shows on Sunday and Monday night which is a little bit of a surprise because they usually put babyfaces over at house shows, but still they don’t have Randy Orton lose to people unless they’re really pushing the guy.”
The Dana Warrior stuff has really confused me since finding out she's on the writing team and has a really big role within it. Like why?
This will be going on at the same time as FSU-Boise Wonder what I'll have on the big TV Spoiler A-E-DUB A-E-DUB
The All Out card is going to be insane I feel. Might be one of the most important cards in wrestling history as it'll lead into the start of the weekly TV. They're going to want this one to have hype out of this world and buzz following the event for TnT. Glad I can't afford to travel, cause I think the stress from trying to get tickets tomorrow would be rough.
Not bad, 15 minute sell out. The hype continues. What to make of Japan Twitter rumblings that Gedo might have stepped down as NJPW Booker. That's pretty huge right?
