One thing I love about this city is people stopping in the middle of a two lane road and throwing on their flashers. Very legal and very cool.

Depending on what time I’m coming home, I sometimes cut through midtown. Some jackass was stopped in the right lane next to Sig Samuels so that his buddy/fare could run in and grab his dry cleaning.

I also regularly deal with Uber’s/Lyfts stopped on North Highland in Inman Park. Now jackass Bird charging people are doing it too.

    I’m heated.

Those bird charger people have a whole operation. From giant vans to construction vests they are fucking prepared.

Ran into a guy at work I hadn't seen in a while, apparently he had been out for two months because he was driving a scooter (forget which version) and the handlebars just came off. Concussion, split his chin open and all kinds of stuff.

    Nobody maintains those things

These companies just dump this shit in cities with total disregard for every aspect of them. Nashville outlawed them today and apparently you can call Atlanta 311 and they’ll seize them if they’re parked in roads or on sidewalks

I fell off one in Edgewood when I hit the street car track wrong. Had enough booze in me I barely felt it hopped up and kept scooting. Friend pointed out later I was dripping blood down my arm and woke up with a nice scrape on my stomach also.

Not going to be happy if they ban the scooters. They can be clutch in midtown

I was in town last weekend and spent the whole time riding those scooters around midtown and Beltline

Those things fuck, but I also understand current residents hating them bc they’re scattered everywhere

The scooter riders that seemingly pay the most respect to cars/walkers/cyclists are those in obvious work attire. I have not witnessed where those people leave the scooters when they’re done (my bigger issue with scooters).

I always park out of the way because it's not hard to do. I heard a scooter beeping the other day and it was getting louder, so I looked out of the window to see who was riding without unlocking. Early 20's, piercings in his face. He ditched the scooter across the sidewalk right outside my place and just left it because it wouldn't stop making noise. Dumb people really irritate me.

I was behind a couple of teens swerving into oncoming traffic on 10th by the park the other day. Was hoping they’d get a real scare so they’d cut that shit out.

Hitting Hal's tomorrow night for our June rendition. I am up next to decide where we go and am in search for a recommendation. Spots hit so far:

    Little Alley
    Kimball House
    Kevin Rathbun Steak
    Bones
    Chops
    Hal's

Despite the list above, it does not have to be a steakhouse.

There are only 2, but I think I like Han Il Kwan slightly better than Hae Woon Dae.

The Korean BBQ in Duluth is best though, in fact, Breakers is literally the #1 Korean BBQ joint in the United States. That said, some locals don't even think it's the best in Duluth -- the options are plentiful there. We have been to 678 and it was amazing. Lastly, if you go to KBBQ 100% make sure to get the galbi, sometimes spelled "kalbi." If you don't, you're really missing out.

Really? I feel like the customer service at Ticonderoga is the best I've experienced at a restaurant in Atlanta. We've been like 3x, and ever since the first time they have remembered us and our names. It's awesome being greeted by name with a smile when we show up. That said, we usually sit at the bar and the same guys are working there every time (Alec and Pat).

Agree with this. Ribs are hit and miss, but sometimes I will get a great slab.

Wasnt that impressed with Greater Good. It was decent enough time, but better BBQ spots around town.
