just like football, I don't pay attention to these things until someone actually signs. never know what is real and what is misdirection (obviously selling a house is one thing, but still)
I mean I know he's a target I just mean as far as "who is leading" or any other rumors. Just let me know when someone signs.
I hope so but I've heard this enough across all of sports to not care until it actually happens. just me.
He has a place in Miami IIRC. I think Galchenyuk did too and a lot of people linked him to FLA before he got traded to Arizona. Russians love Miami Beach.
They both have one. Russians love being down here. There is a pickup game on south beach that is filled with current/former russian NHLers during the summer.
Kid has a lot of talent, but he has to prove he can drive possession at his size in the NHL. He could be the next Johnny Gaudreau/ Martin St. Louis or the next Rocco Grimaldi.
Im honestly surprised it hasn't happened yet. Haven't been told anything new lately. My guess is that the Panthers decided not to go 8 years with Bobrovksy so paying to get him no makes little sense. Not sourced, but I believe that Bobrovsky will happen early on July 1st. I'm a lot less confident on Panarin now.
Just a gut feeling. If the Panthers were 100% getting Panarin, a sign and trade makes all the sense in the world. The Blue Jackets are desperate for draft picks, they have 2 in this weekend's draft. Simple logic tells me that if Panarin was going to be a Panther, the sign and trade would already have happened by now. Maybe it happens on the draft floor, but to me it makes more sense to get it done prior to the draft where you can dominate the news cycle. It definitely won't happen today or tomorrow because the Panthers do whatever it takes to stay out of the Heat's way and whoever the Heat draft tonight will get all the press even if we acquire Panarin. If we get to Sunday and Panarin isn't a Panther, I'd be very concerned. New York is all in on ending their rebuild. They made the big move for Trouba and are all in on Panarin.
This guy seems to have differing opinions David DworkVerified account @DavidDwork After working the phones this week, here’s an update on the #FlaPanthers in free agency. It seems Artemi Panarin and the Panthers could get a deal done sooner rather than later; it’s too good of a fit (Dadonov, Quenneville, location, $ to offer) to not work out. (1/2)
I know the guy. He has zero sources. a few years ago he was tweeting out that the Panthers were the favorites to sign Radulov. We never even made an offer.
before anyone asks, drafting a goalie in the first round changes nothing. The plan is still Bobrovsky.
He could, could also be the next Jack Campbell. It's a big risk. Not one that they should have taken considering Bobrovsky, but it is what it is at this point. I would absolutely love this pick if it had happened 2 years ago.
Fair, but I know there isn’t a no miss goalie prospect but this guy is as close as it can gets. Just develop him, no rush. Signing bob would actually help that.
