I believe so. I can see everyone in the Strava group and followed everyone listed on the leaderboard on Peloton.
I started Emma’s core circuit, and it’s killing my lower back. I realize it’s because my core is weak in the first place, but I feel miserable.
I did that and have done one of her 10-15 min. Core workouts everyday. I feel so much better. Great way to wake yourself up in the morning too.
Meaning they appeared to be the only instructors that stuck around for her ride. I thought it was interesting.
You’re right, missed that. They all seem close to one another, but I thought it was interesting who acknowledged her last day and who didn’t.
i get that a lot of people itt are a different caliber of rider than me, but Olivia Omato's 30 min pride ride kicked my ass today. it was rated 8.6 so i think it was the hardest class i had taken, too. i PRed it by ~35 kj and i didn't even push that hard the last few minutes because i was so far ahead of my pace. that was my first ride with Olivia and i thought she was awesome.
i got a new PR by a full 10% on one of her thirty minute rides. by far the best output i have had on the bike at any length.
6/18. but it's a pride ride so it's in the featured section for june (pride month) and probably easier to find it there.
That's cool. Finding the instructor you like and that pushes you, whether you realize it or not, creates progress. Jacobs did that for me, along with Wilpers. I keep meaning to try one of Olivia's longer rides (done many of her cool downs), and I'm due for a non-Power Zone ride.
PR'ed to Madonna tonite. The rage from hearing that music transferred to the pedals. May try a country music ride next time I want to PR.
Cody is becoming my favorite instructor. Hit 300 on a 30 min ride to make a new PR. Was in zone 5 for 19% of the time. How long you guys get in zone 5 on a ride? What’s this stavia app?
https://www.strava.com/clubs/188670 is our Strava group - tracks fitness activity. Join up and a.tramp will admit you. Zone 5 heart rate or power? Assuming heart rate, I don't seem to get to 5 very often any more. Used to a lot. Did two very tough rides for me yesterday, including a PR, and had 0% zone 5 in the 45 min and .25% zone 5 in the 30 minute PR. Any one else who has been riding a long time rarely get to Zone 5 heart rate now? I would get there in Tabata or Hiit pretty easily, I would think.
One of the UCF posters does it too. Frankly, they’re all so bad that they blend together, so I can’t remember who it is. Edit: Pretty sure it’s rulethirty. He’s definitely one of the shittiest UCF posters, but I think he also uses some cheap bike he bought.
Yep I use the spin bike sold on amazon. I put a cadence sensor and an iPad mount and it works great. You lose the leaderboard and distance in Strava. Those are the two big drawbacks.
anyone do emma's crush your core series? dumb question but how exactly does it work? there's 35 min of class spread across five videos for the first week. are you supposed to take all of those in one day multiple times a week and that's your week one? i assume yes (the instructions say rest for two days and stretch after classes) but i'm not sure because i think the power zone classes are designed to be taken as just one class per day.
I did it. You simply do all that weeks classes in that week. By the time I got to week 2-3 I built up to where I was just doing one per day. Now I do any of he 10-15 min core classes regardless of instructor once per day.
