SugarShaun was it just me or did that look more Berhalter-like with both FBs pushing forward and Bradley dropping between the CBs???
That definitely felt more like Berhalter’s system FBs seemed to be pushing up quite a bit, Bradley dropping back and lots of freedom for Pulisic
Checking back in on the thread and (as always I defer to SugarShaun on these matters) but this is 100% false. Twice I saw Berhalters Crew play over the top (1 vs the Revs high press [and Steffen had a game winning assist] and 2 vs RBNJs press). If anything he’s too reluctant to go route 1 vs playing out of the back. Like I said a bit ago, the second half was the first time I’ve seen us run his typical system. The fullbacks pressed high, Bradley dropped between the CBs, we overloaded the wings, then one clean switch, and we sent the ball center when we had a mismatch.
Yeah his system much more often was going down the wings and when Kei was in Columbus, putting in crosses. They kept trying that with Ola to start then realized the needed to stop crossing so much
MRW the USMNT doesn't act like a bunch of douchebags when they blowout a team they should easily beat.
I just watched the highlights and found it funny that Zardes had 3 very good shots at a hat trick on the same attacking sequence
With Adams out no one on this senior team midfield can win the ball like him. He’d be a great asset right now.
I was at the game. The Haitian fans are fucking wild. So much fun. It was like they won the World Cup
The Caribbean teams had a decent showing this time around. Curaçao beat Honduras, Bermuda beat Nicaragua, Haiti beat Costa Rica, Martinique put in 2 against Mexico. *Fixed Bermuda-Nicaragua
Including UMSNT, anti-Kroenke and a shout-out to TMB in one sign is a tall order but I have faith in you
